He was terrible and grandiose, a black figure made from hooves, talons, fur and horns. Albert prepared. The Dark One moved his hands above his head, the sky darkened. His eyes looked around him. His eyes lowered, he laughed. Albert took out his sword and slashed across the legs of Dark One. He screamed. The wound healed immediately. He didn't laugh anymore. His face had a grin. "That sword," his voice echoed on the open field.

See? This was such a beautifully yet tear-jerking novel I have ever successfully crafted an idea with, a few months ago. But after I have encountered all the horrible occurrences for the past months, I came back to work and turned this sad and romantic novel into a mystery and horror novel, which made all my work colleagues and supervisor absolutely petrified. They have no idea that I was even more shocked and horrified when I have suddenly realized that my novel had suddenly become so dark and twisted. It was beautifully written, like a psychopath has written a novel for the very first time.

Fight!” he urges his team as the undead still multiplying like crazy “A –are you su –sure about this Alfonso? They outnumbered us!” cowardly hiding in the corner, some people did not help them and just settled themselves in the dark “Choose people! Fight them or die here? That’s the only thing that we can do” Alfonso shouted and the cowards still crept in the dark “wa –what’s this?” “Ahk!” it’s a great mistake to hid and cover up in the darkness because where there’s a dark the shadows/soul is more dominant

And then— The house lights went completely dark. Total blackout. A beat of silence. A scream. A struggle. Another gunshot. I couldn’t see anything. Couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t think. And then— A hand grabbed mine in the darkness. Strong. Familiar. “Don’t let go,” Nico’s voice whispered against my ear. But I couldn’t tell— Was he pulling me to safety? Or dragging me deeper into whatever war had just stepped through his front door? The darkness swallowed us whole.

"Excuse me, ma'am. Can I get you anything? Wine? Coffee?" Anna realized she needed something to do with her hands. Something to keep from reaching for the gun again. "Wine. Red. Whatever you recommend." The waiter nodded and disappeared. Anna sat at the table trying to calm down. She had almost blown everything. Almost killed Kane before finding out where Bianca was being held. Nicolas was following James. He would find the location. Anna just needed to be patient. The waiter returned with a glass of wine. Anna took it and sipped slowly, forcing her breathing to steady.

Cove returned and took Eli’s hand again. “Clear,” Cove said. “You’re doing good. Just keep holding on.” Eli’s voice shook. “I feel like I’m going to pass out. The dark… it’s too much. I keep seeing the closet. I keep hearing Marco laughing.” Cove pulled him close for a moment, pressing a quick kiss to his temple. “I know. I’m sorry. But you’re stronger than the dark. You’re stronger than all of this. I’ve seen it.”

A figure emerged from the darkness - a woman cloaked in shadow, her eyes glowing with an unnatural light. “The Shadowed One,” Nicola whispered, her voice echoing in the emptiness. The woman smiled, a chilling expression that sent shivers down Nicola’s spine. “You cannot escape me, child. Your blood is mine.” Nicola clenched her fists. “I’ll stop you. Whatever it takes.” The Shadowed One laughed, the sound reverberating like a storm. “You don’t even know what you’re fighting. Do you think your father told you the truth? Do you think the Order will save you?”

It takes only a powerful witch to be able to conjure a soul from the underworld into a dead Lycan's body. No mere witch was capable of such a feat.
