There was no need to be discreet for now. It was almost sunrise by the time she reached home and she had to sneak inside the apartment as quietly as possible. Her father, grandfather, step-sister and step-mother were still asleep. Her father Zander, in particular, had not long returned from the hunt he'd been on in his section of the city. She could tell this by the fresh smell of strong coffee and cigars, which was his routine after he returned from every hunt, before he went to sleep. Tiptoeing through the front door, she closed it behind her with a gentle click before continuing to her room. Once she made it successfully inside without making too much sound, she breathed a sigh of relief

Lately, I got pregnant with our second child. If I had not accompanied Axel back to pay respects to his ancestors, I would not have returned, not to mention meet Levi. Three days later, I put on light makeup and came to the banquet alone in casual clothes. As soon as he saw me, Levi's eyes lit up while he smirked slightly. "You said you wouldn't come, but your actions say otherwise. However, you have to at least please me if you want me to take you back. You must dress appropriately to match my status on an occasion like today."

The dawn broke with an unexpected serenity. After the storm of revelations and the collapse of the corrupt hierarchy, peace settled over the cathedral like soft snow on scorched ground. Maybe she would fall asleep, her dreams were probably going to be plagued with nightmares, she was scared regardless. Nick didn’t say anything, he knew this wasn’t the end to the conversation, he would have to bring it up again. Her coming-of-age ritual was coming up, and he wasn’t sure how to bring it up again. It was going to be scary and painful, but only for a little one. Once it happens, she will have to fight herself for control, and then she would lose and become dark for a while, but in the end, if she is strong enough, she would be a light dweller, and the Shadow Dwellers would be running because she was one of the few that could kill them off and finally put the good ahead of evil.

Nora I watch anxiously from my window as the sun blooms on the horizon, golden petals stretching ever onwards into the rich blue. It is a brilliant flower that is to warm our days, an invitation to a new start, one I worry about. For two days I have watched the sunrise and fall with no news from Flavius and Neron.
