Chris didn't budge, "Like I said, I don't care. I have to find the people behind my parents' death. They will pay. They will pay for everything." Chris flinched as he suddenly felt intense pain on his left wrist. He checked his wrist and an image started to etch on his skin. It felt like his skin is being seared, it continued for over a minute but Chris bore the pain. The pain stopped as soon as the image is completed. Image of a crown. "The contract has been completed." The demon gladly announced. Chris stared at the demon, "State your name demon." The demon laughed, completely delighted and amused with what is happening. “My name is Damien.”

After a few seconds of eye-to-eye battle, he still maintained his silence, leaving Don Basco with no choice but to break the deafening silence between them. “Am I right? What do you think? (Am I, right? What do you think?)” Don Basco questioned; his lips painted with the image of the devil's grin. Without Don Basco's knowledge, the real devil was the young man in front of him—a devil who is hiding in human flesh with an innocent face, waiting for the right moment to attack his enemy and make them feel what hell is like.

Casonzzer backed off once she saw who it was, bowing her head ever so slightly. "L-Lucious... I didn't know you were back from the war front." She said, greeting him. Xolvion turned to get a look too, seeing Lucious, the eldest of all his siblings and firstborn, air to the throne of Valous. He was a powerful demon, just like their father. He had long silver hair with large black horns on his head, showing how powerful his magic truly was. His eyes were blood-red and his upper body was covered in black magical tattoos, that could be seen through the V-neck shirt he was wearing.

Hannock took the chance to raised his sword and swing it across, cutting through the other demon who knew her. Who is he? Why does he know her? The moment Hannock was about to wield his sword again, Mizuko was quick to draw her bow. "Hannock!" She roars, her breathing heaved and her lips shaking. Hannock then looks at her. It was like her uncle had changed form. "Don't move or I will shoot you!" "Shoot me?" Hannock asked, a lopsided grin plastered on his face and he sobs a sarcastic laugh. "But I'm your only family, my dear. You wouldn't want a brother who embraces his demon side, would you?"

It had baffled when he was just a mere mortal, but it floored him now as a demon. Her stubborn will to be both defiantly strong and soft in his hands had caused the sadistic side of Young to rear its head in Blood, pushing for an opportunity to turn her to clay. It never made any sense how she embodied love and light at all times, even when the harsh parts of herself were shown. The demon side of Young couldn’t help but want, damn near need, to crush that light out of her. In the same token, her display of blind trust in him was a gift he never wanted to take for granted so he was torn, now more than ever.

My semi-clawed hand was ready, and I wielded the sword Ryker had given us, a gift from the moon goddess, capable of slaying demons permanently. With my claw, I slashed at the demons, plunging the sword into one's chest. Another charged at me, but I dodged, waiting for an opening. More demons approached, attacking with dark magic so forcefully that my grip on the sword loosened, and it fell to the floor. Before I could recover it, a demon kicked me hard. I moaned in pain as its claws plunged into my side. Despite the agony, I stood back up, retaliated, and managed to reach my sword. With renewed vigor, I fought off and successfully eliminated the demons. *****

I had to move fast. I turned through the pages of the spell book with shaky hands until I finally settled on what I was searching for. “Thrakos, Demon of the Underworld, Lord of Hell,” I whispered, my fingers tracing the forbidden verse. “He who commands the forbidden flames of the devil's domain,” my voice grew louder, desperation etched in my eyes, "I call thee, Thrakos. I summon thee to the mortal realm. Kneel before–” The sound of thunder cracking cut me short before I could complete my words. The ground began to rumble and the circle I had engraved on the ground expanded outwards as dark smoke clouded the entire place.

His name was Excalibur, he was a sword with a spirit, a sword that can grew with its master, a sword with an ego. Excalibur was made by the combined powers of the Gods, he possesses a power that can even threaten the life of the immortals.

I yelled releasing my sword of the righteous. I swung at the demon, his large burnt figure moved with a speed rivaled to that of a vampire. His eyes leaked magma as if it were crying. It opened its mouth roaring loudly at me, showing me its bright orange throat. I cut through its arm, causing it to let out a loud screech that harmed my hearing. I didn't have time to process as it slashed my chest with its claw like fingers.

Shane shouted. The powerful and gigantic long sword slashed out, covering Lucifer and Jorge completely. Lucifer's expression changed. It was fortunate that he had Jorge with him, or he could have been seriously injured. Shane was arrogant enough to lock them inside the energy tornado. Lucifer shouted, "Jorge, use all of your strength!" He then gathered his strongest power and hit forward. Jorge also held a precious sword. The Demonic Sword exuded a charming, bright light, carrying an extremely dark energy, as it charged forward.
