Devil in the Womb

Devil in the Womb

So that was it. I felt every drop of blood in my body freeze solid in that instant. Since the divorce, Julie had stayed by my side day and night in the hospital. Even under my sternest warnings, the baby never dared speak recklessly in front of her. But I had overlooked one fatal truth: when I was asleep, he could still whisper through that mysterious voice in her mind, twisting her thoughts, poisoning our bond. I had been careless. Now, faced with the fruit knife in my daughter's trembling hands and the spreading pool of blood beneath me, all I could do was laugh bitterly.

Claiming The Devil’s Wife

Claiming The Devil’s Wife

CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE: THE REAL HER NICO ———— It is true that the devil enjoys moments like this. He waits until you are already standing at the edge, already staring down at hell, already thinking about making the wrong decision. Then he pushes. Wrong decisions like wanting to kiss your boss’s wife. Like breaking the contract that you’re so certain you’d never break. Like craving more tastes of the lips that were never meant to be yours. And right now, the devil is smiling.

THE DEVIL'S WIFE

THE DEVIL'S WIFE

HAUTEA'S POV She was twenty-six, maybe twenty-seven, with the specific look of someone who had dressed carefully to appear as though they hadn’t. She was standing at the building entrance at eight fifteen AM when I came back from my morning run, still warm and loose-limbed, earbuds dangling around my neck. A woman stepped forward. “Are you Hautea Sinclair?” “Sinclair-Javier,” I said, keeping my breathing even. “Yes.” “My name is Jess Calder.” She said it with the steadiness of someone who had practiced the words. “I need to talk to you about Drake.”

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

The crowd of villagers parted and the man who was an Alpha glared at me, his lip curling up in hostility. “And who the fuck are you to tell an Alpha what to do, little wolf?” he growled. “I’m the Delta’s Daughter and I’m telling you now, unhand these villagers or this man will unleash my beast,” I said, pointing at Rhett who was gathering himself off the ground. That was always my answer when I was asked who I was. Not Alpha, not Queen, but the Delta’s Daughter. That was the name I had become known as throughout the werewolf kingdom and beyond: The Delta’s Daughter, a title that was fast becoming a legend.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

The Devil's Dust

The Devil's Dust

“I’m just a fragment of dust of what you may term as the devil. So small and useless until I’m given instructions by my boss. In this case, Mr. Memphis, otherwise known as Devlin, and the water of power he pours to me in form of instructions, stirs my little particles into a pile of mud and I get my power from him. But for now, I’m nothing more than a human just like you and everyone else in your little world.” I shudder, breath hitching in my throat. At that same moment I remember the wise words of my mother. The same words I ignored the moment I let a stranger like Michael into my life and now Dustin and Mr. Memphis, who is apparently The Devil. ‘You enjoy playing in the mud, but remember

Devil's Heart

Devil's Heart

The Earl shrieked in wonder, "You call her a maiden! She is no maiden. She's a thief! A mercenary, unbelievable thief!" He continued barking while he walked backwards away from them, "She handed her drink to the Earl of Vetcom, said things too daring for any normal Scottish woman and stole food. You would not call such person a mai…" He found himself staggering suddenly, noticing he was just at the edge of a ditch, one he didn't notice because he was too busy shouting. While he found himself falling into it, a hand quickly gripped around his hard and tight. Gently, that same hand pulled him up, straight back to his balance. And it was the devil herself.

When I start reading a chapter, I'm afraid to reach the end of that chapter because I am not sure I can handle the suspense and/or cliffhangers. But do I stop reading? No. That's what a good book does to you.
