Tepatnya, setelah pindah dari sekolah lama ke sekolah baru yang di dekat rumah. Saat itu, baru kelas 4, penulis mengenal sosok sahabat cowok bernama Wanto yang memiliki kesan tersendiri. Namun, menginjak kelas 5, Wanto meninggalkan tanah Jawa dan menetap di Sulawesi Tenggara. Wanto merupakan sahabat yang sangat perhatian. Mungkin satu-satunya teman cowok yang baik. Setelah kepergian Wanto, penulis memiliki dua sahabat perempuan yang bernama Ayu dan Halimah.
