The Dragon Master Novel Novels & Stories

The drive to the main office is a long one. .... "Louis told me that you lost the seal" Mistress Noir says, her gaze unwavering. I lower my gaze as I await her bombshell scolding. Mistress Noir as she is popularly called, is my boss of three centuries. She is a loud red head with claw-like nails that are always painted red. Her lips are colored with black lipstick and have always been that way. Her temper is outrageous. "I apologise. It was not my intention to lose the seal" I say and she slams a palm on the desk. I don't flinch because I've gotten used to this act of hers.

this blood-sucking creature is unlike anyone I've ever seen. His long dark hair is tied neatly into a bun, and his caramel eyes seem to burn into my soul as he stares at me with an unreadable expression. He looks curious and surprised to see me there, but also angry, or annoyed. "I'm Ronan, your master," he says. #

“Master, what would you like us to do? You need only whisper your command, and we will follow.” Evrah grabbed the wood harder, her gaze darting quickly from left to right, trying to get a closer look. She spotted a big shimmering black dragon that seemed to be looking right at her. The big eye blinked, its big frame fidgeting a bit. A huge black and silver mass of scales and muscles sat directly across from her, its ginormous purple eyes had her dead to rites, and they both knew it. “Please don't give me way,” she whispered, shaking from fear. She cursed that her curiosity had gotten her noticed. The dragon blinked a final time and averted its eyes somewhere else as if it had heard her whisp

“I see…” “I was young when the war occurred. Foolish. Weak.” With each word, his eyes become colder, the humour vanishing. “It all began two thousand years ago. The Dragons lived in the very centre of the land. The Water Dragons, The Fire Dragons, The Air Dragons and The Earth Dragons… We were united under my grandfather, who was known as Zatalys, the Silver Dragon. He was an Air Dragon.” Two thousand years ago? His grandfather? They sure lived long lives…

But if I told them the truth, maybe they would take me back to Thornwood. “A werewolf.” I said as loud as I could muster. Collective gasps broke out around me. Gasps of shock and disdain. I dragged my gaze around, confused by their reaction. Wait, he did say this was the ‘Dragon Keep’. The memory of when I came across a book about Dragons rushed into my mind. “...dragons are egoistic creatures who think they're better than everyone. They hung our kind for sport. They're monsters, Eloise…” Mae had told me that day.

Now that I knew it wasn’t just a story he created in his head, I noticed more details. The first book didn’t have a female lead in the book like the others did. It told the story of his origins. About how he grew up and before he became the Dragon King. The story also talked about how there was a Legend about the Keeper of the Dragon Stone, which I paid extra attention to. All Dragons are told about the Keeper of the Dragon Stone, as it is the duty of a Dragon to keep the Stone protected. The Dragon Stone holds the entire fate of the Dragons. Should the Keeper of the Dragon Stone die, it would cause all Dragons to die.

Carol nodded and said to her that here the white flame represented the light, and that the 3 flames she didn’t know were the black one for the darkness, the purple one for the metal and the last one was silver and represented the lightning. She told her that the greater her reserve of energy would be, the more able she would be to master flames other than the one of fire and light, and that if she had to forge a weapon for the golden dragon, then she would absolutely have to master the purple flame.

Then the last one, well, I smiled as I saw him. “You heard the name BLACK DRAGON right?” our boss continued. I can clearly see their reactions. The tall guy just raised an eyebrow. The mohawk guy looked straight to our boss. The last one just smiled and the youngest boy looked excited. “Black Dragon?! Who wouldn’t know him?! He’s a legend! One of the few we look up to! He can be lined up beside Shadow and Eclipse! An expert and a genius! You’re going to introduce him to us?!” he finally said. I smiled. If only you know. I thought.

He rolled his eyes at Samuel disdainfully, and then proudly said, "I didn't expect that there would be three fairy-like Misses coming to Azure Dragon City. Shopkeeper, the money on this table is on me." "Okay, Master Fu." The shopkeeper nodded quickly. "By the way, I haven't asked for the misses’ names yet." Master Fu smiled. Then, the henchman next to him stood proudly beside him and said, "This is Master Fu from Mount Tian Ding of our Azure Dragon City. He is also from Azure Dragon City." After that, the henchman gave a thumbs-up, which meant that Master Fu was the biggest in Azure Dragon City. Samuel smiled slightly, picked up the teacup, and said, "Is he so strong?"
