When my dad was still alive, my stepmother and stepsister treated me kindly, but everything changed after he passed away. They constantly tormented me, starved me, and made me do chores. I endured it for a long time because they would lock me in the house when they left, so I couldn't escape. But one day, they forgot to lock the gate, and I didn't waste the opportunity. I ran away from home, not knowing where I was going, until I met my husband-to-be, who was strict and cold, but his child was kind. I didn't regret being with them, but everything changed when his child's mother came back, and our peaceful life started to unravel.

I went to meet them at the bottom of the stairs to greet his lady friend safety on her way home. "I can't wait for tomorrow night," she said in a seductive tone and batted her lashes on him. I held back my urge to barf. Her arms are all over him as if she was the drunk one when in fact it was my good for nothing fiancé. "You're too loud," Timothee replied as it was his way of rejecting girls. And yes, another girl cried that night. She won't be expecting to sleep with him again. As the lady went out the door, I look at the young master. His hair wet, topless and jeans unbuttoned. "Don't drool over me, scullery maid." And with that he went back up. Jerk!

I hate his guts, ang bastos niya. Every time na magkikita kami para kaming mga aso't pusa. I told myself that, I won't fall for him.
