Beyond Redemption

Beyond Redemption

He never asked me to; I never had to explain why. But there was something else I felt too. Something cold, lurking at the edges of the bond — not from him, but from somewhere far ahead. A presence. Watching. Waiting. We reached the northern ridge on the fifth day. The air turned dry and hot, even though snow still clung to the rocks. It shouldn’t have been possible — heat and frost in the same breath — but as we climbed the last hill, the answer appeared before us. The Ember Plains. A vast expanse of cracked earth stretched beyond the horizon, glowing faintly with veins of molten light beneath the surface. Waves of heat shimmered through the air, but above it, dark clouds churned like a stor

Marked by Fire & Fang

Marked by Fire & Fang

His body was tense, coiled for attack. “You have five seconds to explain why you’re trespassing,” he growled. “I’m not trespassing,” she said smoothly. “I was invited.” I stepped beside him. “By who?” She held up a pendant, carved with the mark from my mother’s old journal—the Crescent Flame. “I’m Ember,” she said. “Elaine Greywood’s firstborn. Your sister.” I reeled. “No. My mother never mentioned—” “She couldn’t,” Ember cut in. “Because they erased me. Hid me. To protect you.”

Witching: Her Trial, His Error

Witching: Her Trial, His Error

she asked. “No!” Ember growled in my head. Finally making her presence known. I just rolled my eyes at her on the inside. I shook my head at her. “I’m not as helpless as I may seem. I’m good at reading rooms and weeding out the bad apples. Sometimes I’m good at manipulation too. It really just depends on the being. I haven’t gotten that one quite worked out yet.” She finished hyping herself up. Ember decided to speak up again. “Just say no and be done with it. We need to talk about what you just saw anyway. Actually that is the reason she can’t go anyway.”

is coming," Ember said quietly. "Not the peaceful nothing I became. Not the restful void I chose. But the Original Nothing. The Nothing that existed before anything existed. The Nothing that was before Dawn chose. Before the first Dark became something. Before existence began. The Original Nothing is waking. Is stirring. Is coming. It has watched for billions of years. Watched nothing become something. Watched void become fullness. Watched emptiness become meaning. And now it is done watching. Done observing. Done waiting. The Original Nothing is coming to reclaim everything. To return everything to the absolute void. To erase all existence. To make everything nothing again. Not as punishme

Emerald Eyes

Emerald Eyes

However, it wasn’t the same as to what I'm seeing now. There was a boy. I can’t recognize his face because of the weird blurry effect of the dream. The only thing I saw clearly were his eyes. His emerald-colored eyes are still engraved in my mind. Even though it’s already been a year since I last dreamt of it, I still can’t forget his eyes. The scenes may be different to what I'm seeing now, but they were both peculiar and still not on earth.

TRADING MY CHEATING HUSBAND FOR THE LYCAN KING

TRADING MY CHEATING HUSBAND FOR THE LYCAN KING

EMBER’S POV “Explain my face to you? How does that have anything to do with this?!” Her voice climbs. “If you must know, I slept, Ember. For the first time in weeks, my body finally let me rest peacefully, Goddess forgive me, and I woke up to this nightmare. I am grieving the loss of my favourite maids—the tragedy that has befallen this great house—and you want me to give you my ten-step skincare routine to satiate your superstitious insensitivity—”

I’m only 52 chapters in and I’m absolutely hooked!!! There are characters I love and am pulling for and characters who make me so angry that I just want to kill them! Kudos, Remi!!! You are a true author, not just a writer!

Karma’s Edge

Karma’s Edge

"I know you're the kindest. Vanessa was just stupid. She had a perfectly good husband at home, but she was bewitched by a wild man. But the child and the old man are innocent, aren't they?" I said nothing. I simply stood up and opened the door. "Leave. I want to take a nap." "How can you still sleep?" Aunt Marsha's face turned green. She had wasted the whole morning talking, only to get this result. I had had enough of their noise. "You're so kind. If you think they're pitiful, take them into your own homes. Stop bothering me. Next time, I won't open the door." With that, I grabbed them and pushed them out.

My Hockey Alpha Deadly Secret

My Hockey Alpha Deadly Secret

"She was lighter than she has been in a while. In the specific way that she gets when something good happened and she doesn't quite know what to do with the fact that it was good." "That sounds like progress," I said carefully. "It is progress," Rebecca said. "That is exactly what it is. And that is also the problem." She stopped walking. I stopped too because she had stopped and the conversation was not going to continue if we were at different points in the path. "When Ember lets herself have something, really have it, she knows she has something to lose. And knowing she has something to lose frightens her in a way that nothing else does. Because the last time she had something she thought

The Edge Of You

The Edge Of You

He was watching the wine. I swallowed. My hand went back to my wrist, fingers pressing into the skin. "It's an interesting choice," he continued quietly. "To try and remove yourself from the equation. But a Michaels doesn't just disappear. We are a structure. When one piece tries to break away, it doesn't just hurt itself. It creates a vacuum. It's very... inefficient." He finally turned his gaze toward me. His eyes weren't angry. They were calm, carrying a logic that was colder than any threat.
