[ SYDNEY ] “Fuck! Fuck! Fuckkkk!” I scream into the empty room, ripping the blanket off my body and glaring at the ceiling. My chest heaves, my face burns hot, and my eyes sting from zero sleep. What the hell was I thinking last night? ‘I accept your proposal. Let’s get married.’ Had I lost my fucking mind? Or am I cursed to keep getting tangled with the Hart brothers no matter how hard I fight it? “Ughhhh!” I shove the blanket over my face and scream into it until my throat burns.

He wasn't thanking me for giving him tips for my proposal. He was thanking me for giving him tips to plan this proposal… for her. I felt a presence come up behind me, the person leaned close to my ear and said, “The only crime you committed was loving my brother?” Brother? Marcus didn't have any siblings. Turning, my eyes landed on the person who spoke and it was someone I had never expected.

He rested his elbows on his knees and tilted his head like he was studying an injured animal he'd run down in the woods. "Well," Malcolm drawled, "that was intense. Real fuckin' Shakespearean drama right there. Brother turns on brother over some prime pussy. Classic." I didn’t respond. Didn’t have the spit for it. Just lay there staring at the blood-smeared floorboards, trying to focus on anything other than the searing pain lancing my skull or the deeper, gut-wrenching ache in my chest where brotherhood used to live.

His eyes were red, and his words made me sad. "The Conti family is notorious for betrayal. The Moretti family has been around for centuries. My face meets a familiar face with blue-gold eyes. I wasn't dreaming, his looks were real. My stepbrother is hot, I'm in deep trouble.

But before it could fall… A hand caught my wrist midair. Kristoff. He stood between us now, his grip firm, his expression calm in that infuriating way he always managed. His tone was soft, mocking. “Go on,” he murmured. “Lay a hand on her. Three days latter these brothers attacked again, but this time the attack was not on the farm lands, it was an attack on two boys who were fighting, the mother had been warning the younger one to stop insulting his elder brother, but he continued and refused to change, that day the mother gave the elder brother a go ahead to prove that he was the elder, and they began a fight, passerby tried to stop the fight but she insisted and the fight started, she kept making basked and pays no attention to the fight, the fight took long but soon the younger one began to beg his elder brother, for he had been well beating, at that time, these two brothers came out of no where and abducted the brothers,

' I couldn't help but thought. When he reached me he knelt down and presented a file to me "My Lord it's very bad. It's related to your s... it related to the six brothers which you asked us to go and kill. They are not d... dead" he said and a sudden pang assault me from inside "Which six brothers?" I asked, hoping it wasn't what I was thinking. "Asher, Archie, Eliam, Adam and Jack... none of them died", he said, and I nearly died from anger.
