Novel & Cerita The Four Horsemen Laura Thalassa

“They try to rattle who they can while they can. It's all they can do, try to feed off your fear.” “Pussies,” Orion spat spitefully as we laughed softly. “Hey,” a warm, sleek voice pulled my attention. “Theo,” I muttered, tucking my hair back to conceal how red my face was. “Can I sit there?” He pointed at the last chair by my side. “Sorry, handsome,” Orion replied. “The seat is reserved for our friend.” “Oh.” “I don't mind,” the devil himself, Tristan, surfaced. His shirt seemed to be missing the top buttons, exposing the scar that ran across his chest.

The whirlwind howled through the dark realm, filled with Thana’s laughter as she hurtled toward her foe. Lara stood at the entrance of Thana's lair, her heart pounding in her chest, every muscle in her body tensed for battle. The air was thick with the stench of decay and ancient, cursed magic. As the whirlwind approached, Lara held her ground, her eyes blazing with defiance. Suddenly, Thana materialized in front of her in a violent burst of energy, her black robes billowing as she hovered in the air like a dark goddess. Her eyes, burning with hatred, bore into Lara’s soul.

LARRY. "I swear I am fucking going to kill that bastard." Lucas yelled, enraged. I entered the meeting hall and then saw an opened coffin wrapped with a ribbon, inside the coffin is the corpse of the messenger we sent to deliver the heads to the white moon pack, I growled in anger. Xander is crossing the line. He can't just go on killing people without a reason. Lucas growled and yelled. "That guy better not...." He could not finish his statement when he was rudely interrupted.

I spit in her face. Lily smacks my face, her face is boiled in anger. She would have done more if not for Alpha Ezequiel and Luna Aria coming in at the moment but the person accompanying them puts me in awe - the shaman of the midnight pack. He cringes when his eyes meet mine, he does not know what he is involved with until now that he is here. “You did not tell me that the omega you were talking about is the Luna of Dark Howlers pack, Zane’s wife?” The shaman gulps nervously.

A powerful scream that I could barely recognize my own voice because of that. And when I fell on the tiled floor I saw Lisa, dead. The whole place was silent, the light was out throughout Midnight. Right before the moon turns back to its original color, I saw my reflection on the broken glass, near my feet. Long white hair, red eyes, fangs, root-ink visible veins. And my forehead ... It has a Zirconia moon's mark, which is shining. My tears started to flow. The moon is back to normal. I just knelt down in front of Acheron and cried hugging his body again. That's when someone appeared and it was Aunt Laura.

“She is a new member of the family and I hope you all make her feel welcome. Now, Mr Connaught has arranged a special treat for you all while you get to know each other as you will be spending a lot more time together.” With that, Ms Thorton turned on her heel and walked away, her heels click-clacking over the terracotta until even Thalia couldn’t hear her with her preternatural hearing. Silence filled the sunroom as the girls stared at each other for a few moments, each one assessing the other. Thalia had already determined that the girls before her were human although she had known that already. Ms Thorton had mentioned it just a week ago. What she didn’t know was if these girls knew what

Words spoken in a language older than pack law. Kaelira had trembled when the tether sealed. Not from joy. From resistance. I flexed my fingers. We had done what was necessary for unity. For peace after the massacre. That was the story. A knock broke through my thoughts. “Enter.” Laura, my gamma, stepped inside without hesitation, closing the door carefully behind her. Her posture was immaculate, dark hair braided tightly over one shoulder. “Alpha.” “What is it?” She crossed the room slowly. “The warriors are restless.”

a voice said from the far end of the hall, “but Queen Seraphina won’t be able to answer you anymore.” Ryan turned, voice sharp. “Who are you supposed to be?” The figure stepped from the shadows. He was tall. Broad-shouldered. Dark armor cloaked in grey, not black. His eyes burned with an old kind of hate. “I am Tamar. Leader of the Horax.” My blood ran cold with recognition. I knew that voice. “And the slayer of the Moon Goddess, Lira.” I stared at him. His eyes landed on me. And he smiled. “Lira,” he said softly. “We meet again.”

“Untie her and have your fill of her.” The four thugs began walking toward Thalassa, their eyes gleaming like predators about to devour their prey.

In the chaos of the portal’s pull, in that space between one place and another where reality bent and twisted, something in her mind shifted and clicked into place. She suddenly remembered. Everything, every-single-thing! The vision during the shadow wolf fight. The girl in the red gown standing proud in that hall. The man on the throne who looked young and cruel. The omega woman hanging on his arm. The rejection delivered in front of everyone. The Luna’s face as her world shattered. The name that had been spoken. Laura. The woman’s name was Laura. And Lyralei had seen her rejection, had felt her pain, had lived through that moment of betrayal as if it was her own memory.
