The Four Horsemen Laura Thalassa นิยาย & เรื่องราว

***Three Years Earlier*** -Antara- “Darn it!” I was swearing so bad while smashing the lower part of my palm to the steering wheel. Now it wasn’t a steering wheel anymore. It crushed into an eight number shape. I didn’t care. No one saw me in the middle of this Moon Goddess’ forsaken desert. I was in the Sabbatical Valley, looking for Demon Akheron to ask for help.

The alpha stood at the door taking deep breaths to calm himself down while looking at Laura on the bed. ‘She is our second chance mate; the Moon Goddess has remembered us once again.’ Said his wolf excited. ‘She is Divan’s mate.’ He stated the truth that they both knew. ‘She is ours too.’ His wolf argued, he did not want to miss this chance of having a mate again.

Mac cast me a subtly concerned glance, obviously picking up on my increasing anxiety. Henry approached the chapel with a stoic expression. Elena and Emma ceased their chatting when they noticed our presence. I glanced at Elena, trying to ascertain if she was handling the herb's effects well. "Elena, the last place I want to show you is a chapel where we pray to the moon goddess," Emma explained. Elena listened with interest, oblivious to any potential harm. "Alpha, we should proceed inside," Henry suggested gruffly, and we did. The three of us retreated to a different chamber unseen by Elena and Emma. Emma positioned Elena under the radiant white moonflower light, known for its healing prope

“Hello, Laura. Fancy meeting you here, love.” The woman stands there, staring at me with a saccharine smile across her face. Liam steps in front of me protectively. “I don´t understand. Who is this woman, Liam? How do you know her?” “That´s Cynthia. She was your friend. Although she died.” The woman laughs. “Cynthia. Yes, that was the name of this shell I´ve now assumed.” “That´s not Laura´s dead friend. That´s the First Siren.” Marcus said surprised as well.

Then another shiver, a bad one, came over me as I considered the possibility that Warren had taken me captive before I’d escaped. “What about the rest of the horsemen?” I asked. “Three more will be coming, right? Have you guys seen any signs of their coming? Earthlings will be terrified, and if they find out Warren is still hanging around, stirring shit, there’ll be riots everywhere. And who’s the fourth horseman that’s supposed to be coming?” I didn’t even realize that I was mumbling until Jason rubbed his hand up and down my arm to calm me down. This new, dark fear felt so personal that I could barely breathe. “Deathroh,” Fin offered. "The god of death."

The light spread across the battlefield like the first rays of dawn, forcing the nearest monsters to retreat with frightened cries. They did not fear me. They feared the truth I carried. Behind me, the air rippled. The Source appeared first. Then the First Wolf. The First Alpha. The original Aria. The Keeper. The golden stranger followed close behind. They had crossed the broken space between realms just as the final bridge disappeared. The First Alpha immediately knelt beside Kael. His expression darkened as he examined the wound. “This isn’t an ordinary injury.” The First Wolf lowered her head.

Carson promised her. “Dammed right I will.” She says brightly. “Do you think Tala could deter them with her aura?” Carson asked Maria. I assume because she is a royal, her wolf is powerful. “She’s not sure, as they are rogues. But she looks forward to trying,” she smirks at him. He nods his head. “Tala will lead the wolves. Her wolf is strong.” He confirmed my suspicion. “Of course she is,” She’s the future Luna Queen. Oh crap. Maria is the future Luna Queen here in America. I hyperventilated. “This is bad,” I told Carson.

Zaramanni began to chant that last statement as a way of comforting herself, not concerning her presence in that room, but about the deaths of her friends. She was about to pull the carved handle of the right door when it swung open and she came face to face with Luna Laura, a woman she never thought she would set her sight on again. Zaramanni began to take backward steps into the dimly lit room and Laura did not hide her disgust. Arms folded, the she-wolf who was dressed in a tiny-strap dress that revealed the outline of her breasts said, “I can’t believe you are already whoring yourself to the Alpha King.”

Each stride of its steps worth nearly three steps of my own. Oh my gods! I’m going to fucking die! Just then, a whistle rang out, and the beasts ground shaking foot falls stopped. I looked over my shoulder. And there was Marcus, his eyes wide, but sword ready. “Hey you, you leave her alone!” Marcus yelled, and the being wailed this howl-like cry that was unlike anything I’d ever heard, sending me right to my knees and causing me to get dizzy. I looked over to Marcus, and he was off kilter as well, as if the scream itself was some sort of weapon, taking us off our feet. Its teeth dripping with thick, bloody drool.

The knowing look on her face as she watched me suffer. "Lora drugged my drink and poured acid on my face just so I wouldn't perform at the annual Red Moon Rite! She did this to me!" I cried, shaking my head. "She did this!" Lora gasped, covering her mouth with her palms, and shook her head vigorously. "Why would Lora purposely hurt you?" Lyander scoffed, "Don't be delusional, Thalira, she apologized." "She drugged me!" I screamed. Mother flinched, her hand squeezed my hand softly, her eyes looking everywhere but my bandaged face.
