’ The fox said after her body shrunk and she stood in front of me, staring me in the eyes and I swallowed harshly because I was getting scared. “NO, you are lying. This can’t be real.” I said in a whisper in disbelief and the fox shook her head a couple of times, then her red blazing eyes pour into mine. ‘I wish I was, mortal, but it is the truth. You must get out of here before your mate does something stupid in an attempt to save you or just give that witch his blood willingly.’ The fox said, and I bit my lip thoughtfully. If she was telling the truth, then I must do that but how? I have tried to escape but failed miserably.

Three-year-old Theo, with his curious eyes and tousled hair, snuggled up close, his little hand reaching out to touch the colorful illustrations on the pages. In other words, his words implied that I would never win in a war against the Foxs.

"The fox believed every shiny thing was treasure." Peanut nodded enthusiastically. "Smart fox." "The fox met a little bird..." He turned another page. "...who wasn't afraid of storms." Peanut leaned closer. Listening. Completely captivated. Thomas kept going. Inventing the story as he turned each page.

He asked if I'd walk with him in the woods. We didn't say a word the whole way, and somehow said everything. The air among the trees was as fresh as the first day after a long illness. All at once, a white fox darted out. A small, delighted sound escaped me. Graham's head turned at once. He asked gently, "You like it?" Watching the little fox, sweet and quick, I nodded. "Wait here." He smiled. "I'll catch it for you." The words were barely out before he was a blur, tearing after the fox.

I didn’t think it was a good idea but I picked it up. ‘Help me fly so you can find your way out of this place - Fox’ When I opened up the plane I saw this message for me. It didn’t make sense that Fox was trying to help me out, I shouldn’t trust them but… I wanted to. This didn’t make sense at all and it was probably dumb as hell. But I was always doing dumb shit so why does it matter if I keep making more mistakes?
