She pushed him back onto the pillows, climbing into his lap. For the first time in what felt like eternity, there were no corridors, no locks, and no ghosts—only the sound of their breaths, ragged and real. But even as they held each other with their bodies pressed close tightly, the whisper returned, louder now and taunting: “Fox. She kisses you like a prayer. But prayers can’t keep what belongs to me.” Vincent pulled away from her mouth, growling at the empty air around them. “Show yourself!”

I heard the voice of Iris said, bringing me out of my reveries. "Deal." I whispered. I stood up, sitting by her side and clasping her face with her hand. There was a taint pink color on her cheeks, meaning she is blushing. Never knew that nine tail fox also get affected this way.
