“I don’t know how to play. Daddy, it was a game you put on my bookshelf in my room,” I state. “Can you read the directions to learn?”
“Good idea. I’m sorry, I thought you chose this game because you liked it.”
“No. Mommy and I used to play made-up games at our old house, and Mrs. White was always busy cooking or cleaning, so I would play in my room. Mr. Carter never played games with me. But you do, though the doctor says I can’t play any physical games until my brain bruise heals, so we shouldn’t play those games that you like to play.
