The gamma prince's broken mate Novels & Stories

"The Gamma is on his way and he'll ....." "Blayne won't be joining us today." I crouched in front of her and tapped her right cheek three times. "I came instead." Her eyes blinked in confusion, looking me up and down. "Is this a joke?" I pinched her nose hard, crushing her nasal bone and injuring the upper and lower cartilage. She shook her head vehemently in an attempt to get out of my grasp, forced to breathe through her mouth as my grip sealed her nostrils. "Not at all," I told her out of spite. "I'm here to let you know that the Gamma has found his mate now and your services are no longer required." I pulled on her nose until my fingers slipped off.

He cleared his throat, and with visible fear in his eyes, he began, “Your Highness?” “Yes, Gamma Raden?” The King obliged with an encouraging smile. The Gamma said cautiously, “I wasn’t standing very near where you were when you met Gamma Lucianne, so I’m not sure if what I heard was…what I heard.” He hesitated. “You mentioned that Lucy is your mate?” “I did, and she is.” The King responded with a smile, despite the tint of jealousy he felt from the way this warrior called his mate ‘Lucy’ with such affection.

To discover that my mate lacked this connection was a revelation that shook the very foundations of our beliefs. Newgate, my Gamma, broke the silence. "Levi, what does this mean? How can she be your mate if she doesn't have a wolf?"

He asks for more details, giving me pointers on how to charm Alpha Joel and how to get more out of our deal if needed. Before I know it, I get roped into pack politics, and once I start, there’s no stopping me. Gamma Hartley makes good conversation, and we’re laughing at the ideas of one of my new Gammas when someone interrupts us. Brandon. Seraphine’s husband. “Alpha Kingston,” he bows, trying to balance the multitude of flowers in his hands. “Father-in-law, sorry I’m late.” “That’s okay, son.” Gamma Hartley says. “You’ve met Alpha Kingston, but reacquaint yourselves. You’re both married to my princesses.”

Aries said, and I nodded sharply, all my attention on him. Aries unfolded the letter, his brow furrowed as he began to read aloud: "It’s cute to see you going so far out of your way to fish me out, but it’s safe to say you will never find me unless I decide to reveal myself to you—and that’s not happening soon. I plan to drag this out as long as possible until your Beta breaks. His mate was crazy enough to snap their bond on his own just so we wouldn’t use him to torture you, just so you wouldn’t feel his pain.

“Promise me you won’t believe him. No matter what happens. Promise me you’ll fight for us until your last breath.” I wanted to. Gods, I wanted to. But when I closed my eyes, I saw Mirek’s face, broken and furious, and his sister’s ghost staring at me through the cracks in my own reflection. I pressed my forehead against Lucian’s chest, listening to his heartbeat. “I promise,” I whispered. But even as the words left my lips, the mark on my arm burned hotter, crawling higher toward my shoulder. And deep inside, the Shadow Alpha’s voice purred like smoke: Promises break, little queen. Just like bonds. To be continued…

Xander said, and Aiden scowled. ‘Yup. He definitely doesn't like to be called a kid.’ Thaddeus thought as he chuckled. “This is my third in command, Marcus. And this is his mate, Zendaya.” The Alpha said, pointing to each person as he introduced them. “Everyone, this is my mate, Aiden.” Aiden's heart skipped a beat when the Alpha announced him as his mate to everyone. He wasn't expecting it. He thought the Alpha would be embarrassed to let anyone know someone like him was his mate. But when he looked at Thaddeus, he could see how proud he was that he was his mate. It shocked the Omega, and it caused his heart to flutter.

I will never have a mate, not to mention Torian, the son of a cruel man that killed my mother. With a slow but steady pace, I head into the bathroom to clean up. I have to be with the Alpha in the palace as we are now on the same team. ******* I had just finished bathing and was walking out into my room when I noticed the Alpha sitting on my bed, his head sagging to the ground, as if he was lost in thought. "Hey!" I called, and he looked up sharply, both eyes glowing red like a lake of fire as he made a silent grunt.

He growls out as I watch my mate lower his head. I watch horrified as it dawns on me. She is his mate; poor Hascal has always kept himself pure. Following the old beliefs to save himself for his mate just like me. I step forward to stop him but am two seconds too late as I hear the words leave his mouth. “I Hascal Laurens, Beta of the Black Claw Pack reject you Char Sparrow as my Fated Mate.” I watch as Hascal’s whole body stiffens, and his eyes fill with pain. Hearing the gasp coming from my left side I look over at her and see the tears rolling down her face. “Accept it.” Hascal growls out in a soft voice as a sob leaves Char’s mouth. Shaking her head, she turns and runs away.

The Gamma attempted to justify his actions once he learnt of his fate, where Sebastian could only smirk staring down at the man with disgust. “I had not mentioned that it was you who had aided Alpha Stephen in the abuse of my mate.” Sebastian smirked looking down at the mess in front of him, he had accidentally, dropped himself in it and from the reaction of the Gamma, he realised this and couldn’t take the fear from his face.
