Silver smoke moved inside its empty eyes. “Your mother paid to hide you. The king’s blood paid to rise. Debts crossed. Debts slept. Now they wake.”

The light of my lantern streams into the doorway and revealed a huge, muscled monster stooping over. He holds a massive spiked club in one hand and a melon-sized rock on the other hand. It's an Ogre.
