I tried to take it from his hand again but he just hided in his desk. There was a knock on the door before I got the chance to object. Ace called a come in and a guy came in smiling. "Ghost is asking for the little" he said to ace. "I'm the little boss" I said with a frown, he looked surprised and looked at ace who chuckled again. "She's the mini-boss" he assured him. I smiled and skipped out of the office looking for Leo, the guy guided me toward one of the bedrooms on the second floor.

He had forgotten that he was a Goblin, and Goblins were much smaller, at least according to the stories from his previous world. The big Goblin walked over to Will, and with a proud look on his face he patted the helmet. He then let out a short grunt while pointing at the helmet. Will looked confused for a second but wondered if the grunt from the Goblin was actually the word for helmet. Will tried repeating the grunt. The Goblin looked surprised at Will for a second, then he chortled and patted Will on the head. The Goblin went into a corner in the room and grabbed a piece of dried meat from a small stone bowl, he brought it back to Will and threw it in front of him. Will grabbed it and fer

The goblin demanded an explanation from Celea but before she could say anything any further their conversation was interrupted by a very anxious husband " My darling don't listen to this imposter she is saying that to trick you. I'm telling you" He was now trying to somehow stop whatever may come out of this situation " YOU SHUT UP I'M DEALING WITH YOU LATER!" angrily shouted the wife to her husband while Celea was looking at the drama making some funny shocked facial expression at their conversation " Tell me more" This time the goblin was looking at Celea expecting the answers she wanted " Of course"

“Is this really true?” The goblin was still shaking, however it mustered up its strength to give an answer. “Y-yes. We are only here to survive. We only hunt for what we need. We haven’t stolen or ravaged any of the humans. Y-your friend told me that it is the humans downhill that are scared, even though we haven’t done anything.” Matthew kept staring at the goblin. Then he sat on the cave floor. “Sit down.” The goblin did as it was told and sat down.

Devon waited until he was opening her door for her before responding with a grin, "I can assure you, Ms. Hart, in your 29 years, you have never met a man like Gabo Montalvan." Another couple was approaching the door to the restaurant as Devon held the door for Aphrodite and Alex, so he waited for them to enter before stepping in behind them. As he suspected, Gabo had locked his attention onto Aphrodite the instant that she had entered his restaurant and was hurrying toward her. "¡Buenas noches!" Gabo exclaimed in his heavy Mexican accent. "Welcome to Chili Frito. I have a table for two waiting for you. Please follow me."

"Yeah. She's only been here for a month or so. She's a real busybody." Gabriel narrowed his eyes, seeming to think about something. Ginger said, "Don't worry about me. I've hardened up after so many years in the industry. I know how to face people like her." Gabriel stopped his train of thought and nodded. "Okay." At that same moment, Belle and Grayson had reached the restaurant. Grayson passed the menu to Belle. "What do you want to eat?" Belle studied the menu closely. "It's my first time here. What are their signature dishes?"

Andy growled, arriving at Gabriel much sooner than Malcolm. “I’m here to eat.” Gabriel shrugged, although he was just glaring at Malcolm instead of focusing on her “And, since I like privacy, I decided to reserve a few other tables besides mine.” “Do you really want me to believe that it’s a huge coincidence that you came to this exact restaurant and emptied it like that?” she narrowed her eyes, furious. “You don’t have to believe it.” Gabriel had the courage to shake his head, very calmly “I'm already here, anyway. And you look very beautiful, by the way.”

Boss cleansing probability +10%] The next day, I went out to find Jorvan already standing guard at the food stall. He was not the only one there. Other familiar ghouls were there as well. Klyton, Chitan, Trilius, Anella… They were all on high alert and diligently looking around the surroundings. I moved some big tables to place around the food stall and started preparing the food. I was not going to settle for simple food on that day. I was going to make the specialties from the diner, which I had picked out with my father.

Aesthelia didn't mean to judge. "That explains it." Aesthelia nodded and cleared her throat. She apologized afterwards. For some reason, Aesthelia felt like she had read that information about goblins' ability to change their physical appearance whenever they wanted somewhere before. It comes in handy, isn't it? It wasn't anything powerful, but useful at times. "Since when did you guys run this business and reside here?" Aesthelia asked as she took her seat in front of Ven. The air became tense as soon as she sat without being told to. Aesthelia just shrugged her shoulder off.

I spend the first three songs eating cake near the refreshment table and waiting to be ambushed. A Goblin finds me during the fourth, approaching with the body language of a man walking toward something he isn't sure he should be walking toward. He's been somewhere else since the ball started, and now he's back, eyes darting. I finish the last strawberry on my plate. "Rea," he says, too carefully, "can I talk to you? Privately. The back garden—"
