Under the Pale Moon

Under the Pale Moon

"We can't get anywhere near them, Rakesh won't let us." I blinked at the weedy man. I couldn't tell what he was at first, but then I noticed the crinkled ears, the tell-tale sign of a goblin. He was probably the manager. Rem had told me they could be a little feisty but it seemed this one was nervous and I didn't need to guess why. Rakesh had shown me how easily he could make the supernatural cower away from him should he desire it.

Epitome of Bloody Love

She smiled as she folded the paper again. "It's okay. Are you bored? Do you want to come with me to interrogate?" "May I?" "Of course! Come with me!" Ruby followed Brian, who led her northward from Orion's hideout. She synchronized her footsteps with his so as not to fall behind. They finally arrived at their destination. Three guards seemed to be holding torches while other guards surrounded something inside. He is Doki, the Goblin. His hands and feet were bound by an iron rod coiled around his body in a kneeling position. He grinned as Brian and Ruby passed the guards.

Enslaved By The Mafians

Gabi was especially excited because he wanted to show his in-laws off to Ruby, and so he volunteered to introduce them. “So, Ruby.. So, this is the second to last person I wanted you to meet, today, Gio.. He owns Buena Comida..” On hearing the name of the new and popular food spot, Ruby was agape. This was a rich family. “Hi, I'm Giovanni... Nice to meet you,” Gio said, stretching his hand for a handshake. Ruby took it, smiling, and said back: “Nice to meet you, too. I'm Ruby.”

SECRET OBSESSION

Mike didn't think so, though his definition of beauty was currently in a rapid tailspin. Naia nodded. "Goblins are a weird bunch. Trust me, you would have had no reason to make a wife of any normal goblin." Naia's nose crinkled. "Tink, you stink." "Tink hungry too," the goblin announced, holding her stomach. "Just finish big sleep." "What's the big sleep?" Mike asked.

THE ILL-FATED MATCH

THE ILL-FATED MATCH

The diners looked on with interest, the only thing missing was popcorn. Then something suddenly clicked in Gabriel's mind. While other women would have flirted right back with him, this one was terrified for some reason. "What's your name?" He asked She had just opened her mouth to respond when a tall, lean man with blonde hair and blue eyes approached. "Selena is everything okay?" The new arrival, Michael Knowles, the owner of the Meat-and-Greet restaurant looked at Gabriel and scowled. "Selena was just telling me how delicious and wonderful the chicken gnocchi soup is," Gabriel said with an amused expression on his face.

OWNED BY THE GHOST

OWNED BY THE GHOST

The possessive way he fucked me like he both hated and needed me. I forced a grin. “You’re crazy, man. You watch too many movies.” He stepped aside but whispered as I passed, “Run while you still can. He’ll ruin you.” Later that day, I overheard two employees gossiping near the cafeteria. “Did you hear about The Ghost? Some billionaire who shows up masked at underground parties. Pays good money, fucks like a demon, then vanishes. Nobody ever sees his face.” I laughed it off again. But deep inside of me, i was worried for myself.

Strings of Fate

Strings of Fate

She responds immediately that she will use her master key to let herself in to make my bed if I'm not home. The restaurant that Bellamy takes me to is called The Golden Cauldron. It's a Magic's restaurant which means no non-magic beings are allowed. I've never been here before, even though I'm a Magic. I've never seen the point in paying for a fancy dinner and night out when I'm by myself anyways. I may as well just be comfy at home and order take-out. We head inside and my first thought is that I'm glad I wore a dress. The place is every bit as fancy as Borderline, but less modern. It's stunning, but I sort of wish it was a little less so because it makes this all feel very date-like. Not t

I am absolutely in love with this story! It is extremely well written, very detailed and a interesting storyline. I am in love with the characters with there heart to heart conversations, playful banter, and the amazing group chat. (I laugh evertime I read the chat). Definitely recommend!

This is one of the best stories I've read in ages! It's got the slow-roll romance, but there's lots of other aspects to this that keep it from stagnating. Also, the dynamic between a dominant alpha who's completely clingy and a dominant woman who's used to being a loner is very amusing.

Frozen Heart (the Heart Series, book 2)

When they passed next to a forest, Rhobart suddenly said, “I just remembered a shortcut to the Hammer Clan. By late afternoon tomorrow, we will be reunited with the others.” “You do know shortcuts are often dangerous,” Ayla commented. “Not as dangerous as your tea.” Ayla glared at him, and he cleared his throat. “See those mountains?” he asked while pointing at the horizon. “There is a path between them. Normally it is not dangerous, but sometimes goblins will try to attack travelers who are foolish enough to get close to their cave.” Goblins were small humanoid creatures with green, leathery skin that offered some protection against the weather and weapons. They were very agile and preferre

He stood in the lobby, watching Jeannine’s now empty parking space for nearly thirty minutes before dialing his team lead. Arrangements needed to be made. J Bourbon Street New Orleans “I still think I should go in there and rip his traitorous head off,” groused the Golem as they sat in a car a block from Gallow’s restaurant. “I’m sure you do,” said Fernández. “Trust me, this is going to hurt him for a very long time.” Not five minutes later, a half-dozen unmarked cars roared up to Gallow’s restaurant. A dozen agents stormed in, right at the onset of the dinner rush. Customers came out in droves, and Gallow was brought out in handcuffs as an FBI van pulled up.

Ghost Busters

Ghost Busters

Everything about that bus screamed 'money'. 'What a sumptuous bus this is. I wonder how its interior is?' He couldn't help but admire the fine grand bus which was colored in red. After all, this was his old habit. To appreciate the beauty no matter if it belonged to a person or even a thing. Suddenly, the glass of one of the windows of the other bus slid open, and someone emerged out of it. "Aye! Yooo!! If it isn't the poor and miserable Ghost Busters team!? Eh!?" A guy with black hair tied in a ponytail with a patchy beard came into everyone's view as they heard his mocking voice.
