Thumbing through the novels I was taken aback by the amount of notes she had within the margins, she was truly a remarkable person, brilliant at that. After the tall man left the room I waited until Edward would put his book down and actually listen to what I have to say but he didn’t. I need to take time. I remember the small room I entered last time. I slowly opened the door and turned on the lampshade. The books on the table were still scattered. I tried to look and read each one of them. These are all interesting books. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and a lot more. I tried to find something that might help me, but I found nothing.

He had read his father's books, maybe that's what he meant when he said he didn't read much. The classics were such a vague range, I would've hoped he had read every Jane Austen book, I would make sure of it for him. "You've read this, haven't you?" He asked, picking a copy of The Great Gatsby and I nodded my head, knowing he had read it too. "You look like someone who's read it", I noted to him as he shuffled the book in between his fingers and he smiled. "The Great Gatsby has a type now, huh?" He asked, stepping back into the mystery section, he was looking for a book for his sister. I knew he wasn't looking for himself, as his eyes wandered through the unknown books.

My mother passed it on to me once realized that I love reading. To be fair I did watch the movie once I was a bit older. They included most of the famous line from the book, but there were a few things that I didn't like about the movie. I mean The great gatsby was written in a different time. but they included modern music in the movie. I wished that they would have used music from the time the book was written in. Everything else in the movie was just over the top for me.

I mean with Ancient English and all, it all just seems boring. But reading “the great gatsby” is more interesting than I thought. I was deeply engrossed in the book when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I flinched and sprang my head up to meet the angry gaze of Na..Nathan? “Nathan? What are you doing here?” I was quite bewildered because Nathan is the last person to be seen in a library. Like most typical boys, He hates novels. “I knew I would find you here.” That makes more sense, he came for me.

Who would have guessed he reads. My curiosity gets the better of me and matches it. The first book I spot one hundred years of solitude. I haven't read it so I decide to move to the next, The Great Gatsby. Am familiar with it so I pick it off the shelf and sit on his bed. The book is dusty like it hasn't been read in a while. Am so absorbed in it until someone snatches it away from me. "Get out!" I look up. Quinn is staring at me super mad.
