Her health was abruptly falling like her heart pieces but too numb by her emotions to bother. She felt like a fool to believe his words and consider forgiving his sins. He never deserved to be at peace in her eyes. Her shaking legs stumbled on her heels as a foreign hand held her from the back. The owner of this grip turned her around and secured her around his arms. She lifts her head only to meet those eyes that always claimed to be guilty but end up closing on her sufferings. Those eyes are the ones she used to love secretly, and he turned them into hate and fear.

I didn't want to think about it, but I felt a hint of guilt. No! I shouldn't feel even a bit of sympathy for him. He deserves those bruises because he disrespected me. Besides, he thinks I'm a bad woman, flirtatious and promiscuous. We watched a basketball game just to mess with the varsity boys and their arrogance. We messed up their lockers and wanted to see their reaction. Because of that, he judged me as promiscuous. I just told him he's a slave, a sex slave. Isn't he just like other men, prioritizing their lower parts over their brains?

Chapter 7 AURORA I continued to play along with his Deceit. "Can you hear it beating?" He inquired again, snapping me off my thoughts. but by God he could use his words to tell them exactly what he thought of them and what he knew Ulayah felt about their kind.
