Do you know what time it is?” I pulled my hand from under the blanket to look at my watch, but Maria covered it with her hand. “You are going to drive yourself crazy. Ann, turn the TV on, put something distracting on.” “I have just the thing.” Ann rose from the seat and crouched down. She went through the DVD rack. “The Hills Have Eyes, definitely a distraction.” “Considering there is a crazy wolf after us do you really think we need to watch a horror flick, especially that?”

Roe watched his men struggle and turned to Brian. “How did you hold that beam up by yourself?” he asked Brian with admiration. “I guess I had some help,” Brian replied quickly. “Help?” “Yeah, the supernatural kind,” Brian said simply. “You mean to tell me this place is haunted?” Roe asked confused. “Very much so.” Brian nodded. “Then why haven’t we seen or heard anything?”

With heavy breathing and horrifying joy in its eyes, the ghoul stood over her. "No!" Lila cried, preparing to throw herself at the creature. Her vision blurred, and the world around her started to spin. The ghoul's claws were inches from her face when suddenly, a roar echoed through the trees. A dark shadow flew past Hailey, colliding with the ghoul. The hit caused the beast to fall backward. Hailey blinked, attempting to zero in on the jumble of action before her.

Like moths to a flame, all sorts of supernaturals are attracted to the Ley line. Becoming assholes is the least of the people of Thorne Hill’s worries. The banshee circles again, screaming so loud it echoes inside our heads, rattling the glass windows of the house.
