The final chamber was not hidden because it was empty. It was hidden because it was the truth no one had survived cleanly enough to carry back. The foundation beneath the sanctuary peeled apart beneath my hand, and below the lattice of bones and roots I saw a vast round chamber lined in black stone veined with silver. Old water circled its edges in silent channels. At its centre stood not a throne, not an altar, but a cradle of iron and root grown together around a hollow large enough to hold a body.

Today marked the three month anniversary from the date when I slowly started to revealed myself to my company. Although I had been running my company for over four years now, none of my employees- apart from my secretory Joseph, the council and my team of bodyguards knew who I was. At first I did not know why my parents would keep me hidden, and it was written in their will that my identity was to be revealed to the public at my eighteenth birthday. But looking back these couple of months, I knew why they did that.

THE three disappeared from the hospital and emerged to the Altierra’s farm in Caramoan. Kharyn held the key—a medium-sized gold triangle with inscriptions written in the faerie alphabet. The adrenaline begins to wear off, and I find myself hoping against hope that I can hide long enough for the timer to run out. Then, a voice cuts through the silence. "You’re not exactly good at hiding, are you?" My blood runs cold, and I freeze, every muscle in my body going rigid. I know that voice. It's Xerxes. I peek over the edge of the branch, my stomach twisting in embarrassment. There he is, standing below me with his arms crossed, his eyes glowing with an almost mocking amusement. "You’ll be found within minutes," he adds, the words like a cruel prophecy.

“But strength alone will not protect you from truth.” “Then show me the truth,” Eva demanded, fury and determination lacing her words. “Show me what you want from me, and I will not falter.” A silence fell, heavy and oppressive, broken only by the distant cry of a lone eagle. Then, with deliberate, almost ceremonial movement, the cloaked figure lowered its hood. The face beneath was obscured by shadows, features shifting like smoke, impossible to define. Yet somehow, Eva knew this being was not entirely alien. Something deep within her resonated, a memory half-remembered, a connection she had yet to understand.

Their team only knew about this person but, judging by what happened today and having that arrogant Doctor watching over them, maybe the Headquarters and the other Heroes and Sotiras would of course know this person, while them, would be reduced into lower rank for keeping such a major secret about that ‘person’ that could help the country grew its community and strengthen the country power. Their expression grew complicated when they thought that the one solving the problem is at least a 'Sotíras' because of the almost clean road with the exception of that little hole.
