Friendship's Last Bite

Friendship's Last Bite

Almost. Then, a scream ripped through the idyllic scene. A high, keening wail that sliced through the quiet like shattered glass. I slowly abandoned The Hobbit. From the safety of the porch door, I cautiously looked past my yard. My parents' house was nestled on the corner of two quiet residential streets, usually peaceful, so the ear-piercing cry rang like a bell of despair.

Chapter 8: The Final Confrontation As Elara and Aric ventured deeper into the citadel, they encountered twisted creatures and vile abominations that sought to thwart their progress at every turn. But with each foe they vanquished, their resolve only grew stronger, fuelled by the knowledge that the fate of the world depended upon their success. Finally, they reached the heart of the citadel, where the Dark Lord awaited them upon a throne of blackened bones. His eyes burned with malevolent fury as he beheld the intruders who dared to challenge his reign.

SECRET OBSESSION

SECRET OBSESSION

Fucking the Dragon always left her sore, but the payoff was worth it. Setting the alarm, she crawled into bed, intending to read for another hour. Lifting the blankets away from the sheets, she caught it out of the corner of her eye, the gap in her bookshelves. The Hobbit lay at an angle, the space Jenny had occupied now empty.

I personally can’t get past the first two chapters you said the parents died in the description but they went to jail in the story. You said they have 7 brother but you then say after she only met one that she needs to meet 4 more. It’s too many grammatical errors I’m sorry I hope you do better.

I'm not just a human

I'm not just a human

I started to walk to the grovel road, but then I heard someone scream. No not someone. BILBO. I know it is him screaming, I have heard it enough times, to know exactly how it sounds. I run to the edge of the building and turn around I didn't see anything so I move down the wall, until I'm at the back of the massive place. Then I saw it, bilbo! He was running, running from a wolf! In milliseconds, I took of running towards him. The poker of the fireplace, ready in my hands.

Really enjoying this story so far but am also wondering if English is not the author's first language, the words sound right but are wrongly spelt. Please don't be offended by my words, I think you should get help to edit your spelling. I can follow what you are trying your best to say in the story.

it is a good. there are a lot of mistakes in spelling and grammar. but what upsets me is the repeat chapters. if it wasn't a pay per chapter it wouldn't matter. I buy 10 chapters at a time, I did not notice the first repeated chapter but I see another in the index. so I will buy single chapters.

Chapter 10 of 'The Hobbit,' titled 'A Warm Welcome,' is where Bilbo and the dwarves finally reach Lake-town after escaping the Wood-elves. The journey down the river is tense but oddly serene, with the landscape shifting from dense forests to open waters. Bilbo’s role as the 'burglar' pays off when he helps the group sneak into barrels floated to Lake-town, though he’s absolutely miserable by the time they arrive—cold, wet, and starving.

When they stumble into town, Thorin’s reveal as the heir of Erebon sparks wild excitement among the Lakemen, who treat the company like royalty. There’s feasting, singing, and a lot of hopeful chatter about the dwarves reclaiming their treasure and freeing the town from the dragon’s shadow. But beneath the celebration, you can sense Thorin’s growing pride and the looming dread of what’s next—Smaug. It’s a bittersweet chapter, mixing relief with foreshadowing, and Bilbo’s quiet exhaustion contrasts sharply with the dwarves’ triumphant mood.
