Hearing that, a faint smile finally appeared on Tessa’s lips. She had thought this maid knew nothing. Now it seemed she had underestimated her. She still had some sense. "Alright, then get out of here." The housemaid nodded repeatedly, afraid of staying any longer. She was worried something might go wrong if she delayed. She could’ve left smoothly, but if anything held her back now, that wouldn’t end well. Looking at Tessa like that, the housemaid was genuinely scared. She hurriedly crawled out, not daring to waste another second here.

He shut me up, “I'll ask one of the maids to show you around. Know your future house and start learning how to behave like a good wife.” They both stood and started walking past me. Hendrix stopped, faced me. “Just comply and you've got no problem.” He strutted out. I curled my hands into fist, was that an advice or a threat? I watched them leave the living room and out of the house. The frustration in me grew. What was actually happening? “Hello ma'am.” A high pitched female voice rang from behind. I turned back and flinched. I was startled to see a female dressed in a maid's outfit and her hair was packed in a bun.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'm just desperate. Besides this is a win-win situation for us" "Shhh, just get the maid uniform and follow me to the servants hall." She turned and left ahead of me "Thanks Calliope, you are the best. Can I just bring my whole luggage?" "Ofcourse, I'm always ready." Her eyes rolled, then continued to walk away from me. Later, we were in her room in the servants hall where I already transformed myself to a middle aged woman "What do you think, do I look like am in my forties now?"

Hans said before leaving the maid candidates. "I heard that the young master in this mansion had a failed marriage, so he needs to vent his anger over what happened to his future wife," someone whispered behind Lynda. "They say he's also disabled, if we qualify to be his servants, will we be able to last a month? Many say he's also very cruel and now I'm hesitant to continue being a maid here, it's just that the demands of my life that need this money can't avoid work." Mia turned to look at the two women whispering behind her, "Will you shut up? If he heard what you just said, who knows what will happen to you next!" Mia said and the woman snorted.

I went to the sitting room and saw a maid was already there, cleaning it up. "Good morning, ma." The maid greeted me, and I replied to her, "Morning." I walked away to sit on the couch, observing the maid arranging the cushions properly on the remaining couch. She cleared her cleaning equipment, leaving the sitting room. As there was power supply, I embarked on switching on the television. It was morning, so I decided to keep myself company by watching a movie. However, my fun was interrupted when Mrs. Ifeoma arrived. She knocked on the sitting room door and entered in her brown long gown.

Cathy asked as she entered the kitchen. "Chicken nudgets, Madam?" a maid replied. "Why? I didn't tell you to cook it." she asked, looking at the other dishes. "Miss Mary told me to make this and a few other dishes for the kids." She approached the maid and stood in front of her. The maid swallowed in fear. "Does Miss Mary pay you?" she asked. "No, Madam?" the maid answered, stumbling. "Is she the housekeeper here?" "No, Madam."

They couldn't do anything other than allow her to go, but now that something bad had happened, Mary knew she had to speak out because she did not want to get burned in a fire, all because of another person. "Is a maid missing?!" He asked, looking at Shawn, who was behind him with his head bowed. "How did a maid get missing? And who is this missing maid?" "She must have left the house last night, Alpha," Shawn said. He also did not know that a maid was missing. "A maid left the house last night without anyone knowing?" He asked, looking at them in anger. Get me the CCTV footage now! He commanded. He watched how the girl added poison to her food when no one was there. He also watched when she

I had no right to be jealous because I wasn't his girlfriend. I was just a maid hoping he would notice one day but I knew vaguely that would happen. As the days passed, different women came to the mansion. It' already his habit to change women every day. I just focused my attention on working and was content to be loved far away. "Whoever woman Sir Elijah brings here, it's tiring to clean her bed," Beth complained. "I'll be the one to clean Beth," I volunteered. "Let me do this! maybe your innocent mind will become wild, haha !, "she told me laughing.

The other maids were up cleaning the rest of the house, which made me the only maid in sight. I remained there, eyes focused on her, completely clueless on what to do. Suddenly, I found one of the kids walking up to me, it was one of the triplets. He turned his gaze from me, back into the kitchen and then back to my figure. "Who are you?" He asked. "The new maid." I whispered to him. "why are you whispering?" He asked, completely confused as to what I was doing here. "No reason." I said immediately.

As I slowly regained consciousness, soreness radiated throughout my body, and my head throbbed with a dull ache. Thoughts of the passionate night with Shraf flooded my mind, leaving me feeling kinda weary. Blinking against the brightness of the room, I glanced around, trying to make sense of my surroundings. My heart skipped a beat as I realized I wasn’t alone. A middle-aged woman stood at the doorway, her expression gentle and caring. “Ma’am, I was your new housemaid, Magdalena,” she said, her voice warm and comforting. “Your husband had hired me to take care of you.”
