I swallowed a lump in my throat as I kept staring at the horrified apearance before me, my dark hair looked lifeless as it hung down past my elbows, was this the person that I had become now, this dirty and sorry excuse of a creation that should never have been. Taking a deep breath I closed my eyes as I wiped away more tears before looking over at the clearly brand new toothbrush waiting for me with a full tube of toothpaste already next to it, swallowing hard I instantly felt a lump come up in my throat again. He thought of those who had died—friends, innocents, all lost in the fight against an evil so ancient and powerful it had nearly consumed the world. But amid the sorrow, there was hope. A second chance. The rising sun bathed the landscape in pure golden light, warm and honest. Gabe looked down at the idol cradled in his hands. It was warm now, faintly humming as if something deep within it still breathed.

Frowning, I use my app again and wonder why it was hidden away at the back of the book when my eyes widen at what it translates to: Hybrid.

Packs still eyed hybrids with suspicion, and many powerful leaders saw hybrids as tools or threats in their own power games. Yet, despite the risks, I couldn’t ignore the flicker of hope that had been ignited inside me. If there was even a sliver of an opportunity for acceptance, for peace, then I had to fight for it. Not just for myself, but for every hybrid who had been forced into the shadows, branded as outcasts. I wiped my eyes one last time, feeling the sting fade. The stage was set for a new kind of battle, and I had to take the reins this time.

Yummy, I thought, my stomach growling in anticipation. Julian smiled, seeming to take my nod as a seal of approval. "So, shall we go inside now, change our wet clothes, and have lunch?" I nodded again, excitement building in my chest. Chicken Alfredo, here I come! I thought, following Julian out of the hut, my eyes fixed on the grand Victorian mansion looming before us. As we stepped into the grand Victorian mansion, I felt as though I'd entered a dream world. My eyes widened as I took in the opulent interior design, every detail meticulously crafted to create a sense of luxury.

I said curiously. "Well, I don’t know but I am pretty sure that those two devils are up to no good". Liam replied. "So, what’s the second step, since our first one was a quick success, I suppose that we are going to proceed towards our second step". I asked. "Yes, we are going to. Listen closely, if we make a mistake on this step, trust me our plan will be a failure." I nodded and listened closely. "So, the second step is…."
