Chasing The Stubborn Ex-Wife

Chasing The Stubborn Ex-Wife

And beneath it all, a fierce, burning resolve: to prove his innocence. Hours bled into each other. The rhythmic beeping of unseen machines, the hushed whispers of nurses, the distant wail of an ambulance – they all formed a disjointed symphony of his despair. He replayed the last few weeks, searching for a moment, a sign, anything that could have led them here. Sophia. Her name was a bitter taste on his tongue. He had dismissed her clinginess, her over-the-top compliments, her sudden appearances. He had been so blind, so focused on his work, on them, that he hadn't seen the viper in their garden.

Snatched By The Don: My Enemy's Father

Snatched By The Don: My Enemy's Father

I knew she didn't understand the world I operated in, but I hoped that one day she would see things from my perspective. “Do you kill innocent people too? Do you traffic humans, ladies too?” she asked. “Innocent…” I tasted the words on my tongue, stretching it. What is innocent? Who is innocent? Everyone was innocent at some point. I was until I turned ten. “Whoever crosses our paths aren't innocent anymore," I said, my voice even and detached as my gaze drifted into the distance. "As for trafficking humans... we have businesses, Rena. Various businesses. But human trafficking isn't one of those."

HIS INNOCENT DOLL

HIS INNOCENT DOLL

Through the delicate material, he could make out the curves of her body, the outline of her breasts, and the fragile innocence she seemed completely unaware of. For a moment, he had forgotten the alcohol in his system. Or perhaps it had only made things worse. He had entered the bedroom feeling intoxicated, but the sight of her had awakened something far more dangerous. Desire had hit him with unexpected force, leaving him unable to think clearly. And then he had done the unthinkable. Still, a part of him continued to justify it. They were husband and wife. Their marriage might have begun under complicated circumstances, but it was a marriage nonetheless. In his mind, what had happened betwe

THE GIRL NEXT DOOR ISN'T INNOCENT!

THE GIRL NEXT DOOR ISN'T INNOCENT!

She felt paralyzed by the enormity of what had happened, even though she knew deep down she was innocent. Just as she was sinking deeper into despair, she heard the screech of tires and looked up to see Xavier rushing toward her. Without a word, he enveloped her in a protective embrace, his presence grounding her in the midst of her turmoil. "Xavier," Anna whispered, her voice trembling, "please… you have to believe me. I didn’t do it. I would never… I know I might have lost your trust, but please, please believe me."

He Left Her Broken, She Returned a Weapon

He Left Her Broken, She Returned a Weapon

“I know what you are trying to build.” “And what is that?” “A politically motivated case based on assumptions, emotional testimony, and the statements of frightened teenagers.” Jacob leaned back farther in his chair. “Gerald,” he murmured, "it's just as you've said." The lawyer lifted one hand. “My client is innocent,” he repeated. “And I expect that to be reflected in the manner of this interview.” Detective Collins looked at Jacob. “Mr. Hawthorne, do you understand why you are here?” Jacob’s gaze moved slowly to her.

The Innocence Is Gone

The Innocence Is Gone

He was talking as if I was a Saint. Wait, I was a Saint. It was true, I never made mistakes. I had never attended a single college party. I was always on time to get to class and I did my homework perfectly and submitted it on time if not the first one. I never even had a boyfriend or friends. I guess that had to do with me being a nerd. I mean, it is college, where everyone wants to have fun and I am not....fun. I was quiet and as most people would describe me, naive and nerdy. People like me were termed as boring.

The Don's Innocent Nurse

The Don's Innocent Nurse

And she did, Melanie had curves for days with an ass I just wanted to bury my face in and never come up for air. She also had this air about her, an aura of innocence, untouched by the evil of this world and that assumption was solidified when she defied me in front of my men. Not that she wasn't scared. I could clearly see the fear in her eyes, but she did it anyway and I couldn't help but be drawn into her hazel eyes like they were the passage way to my soul. A soul I'm pretty sure was already doomed to hell considering the kind of shit I've done and still do.

Her Innocence His Addiction

Her Innocence His Addiction

I shook my head, almost breaking into tears, "He's gonna hurt me. He has a knife —" "Open the damned door!" He repeated; his smile was gone and replaced with a monstrous scowl. I flinched, and without hesitation, I opened the door and ran to go stand behind the one who held a phone. Noah burst inside, raged and furious. "I'm gonna slice you into pieces, bitch!" But then he froze, at the sight of the men, hiding the knife behind him. Coward! ************** REED ALCATRAZ

My Innocence, His Destruction

My Innocence, His Destruction

Shivers ran down her spine. Her body shivered. Cold washed off her. Her knees weakened. “ Why? Why?” She snapped her head to Caleb. “ Why? Why would you lie about something like this, I never did anything wrong to you!” She shouted bitterly, anger blazing through her eyes. Caleb turned away, fist clenching hard against his thighs as his eyes flicked to the prince and Maribel. “ Tell them the truth! Tell them I'm innocent!” “ Shut up!” The prince’s voice thundered. “ I think I've given you enough grace, but you're just a disgusting maggot who's not ready to admit to her sins. Here's my sentence…”

Broken Innocence

Broken Innocence

" I didn't tell him that I have heard this name from Sehreyar's grandma. If I say his name then bhaiya will definitely understand what's happening in my life. That's why I have to lie. Hearing me, he lost the full colour of his face and I saw some emotions in his eyes. He is looking guilty and hurt. His eyes are holding too much pain. He replied almost crying," Meher, I am not a good person. I have done many injustices in my whole life. I have destroyed an innocent person's life. I am a sinner." " What are you saying bhaiya? Please, tell me everything clearly. What have you done? I asked him worriedly.

A very good book and what impressed me is that the author put effort in writing 2 ending as people like me go for the realistic one but teenagers still want happy go lucky stuff .it was a refreshing dark experience i crave so thankyou very much ...️

I love the story and both endings, but you could have combined both with Meher making a name for herself independently, then introducing Sehreyar to the Mehmet and giving him a chance to be a father and better person. she got her justice but she became the devil by taunting him and taking his kids.
