MINE BEFORE THE BLOOD MOON
Exactly what I needed.
Before I could ask more questions a sudden pain exploded behind my eyes and I gasped. The room vanished and darkness swallowed everything. Snow, so much snow. I stood in a frozen forest, the same forest where my brother died, the same border, the same bloodstain, but something was different. The snow wasn't fresh, it was falling, and the scene was happening now, or rather then, the past. A small boy stood near the border, ten years old, with dark hair, a bright smile, my brother, Eli. My chest tightened. "Eli." He couldn't hear me. This was only a memory, or a vision.
