The Last Dragon King Novels & Stories

I said in a firm voice and she gave me a pointed look. “The peace treaty was signed by all the kingdoms and they all pay homage to King Kenneth for he is the oldest. This means when news has been raised on the possible presence of a sorcerer, everyone keeps watch and allows the search into their walls.” she explained, “King Kenneth is anything but stupid, trust me when I tell you that by now, your home is being thrown upside down in search of you by King Kenneth's soldiers.” “Chloe, I can't just keep running even when I know I’m innocent, I don't…”

Wayne gave him a pointed look and changed the topic "Just like we were discussing earlier, the location of the remains of Kur is speculated to be buried in the depths of planet Uranus. It is worth checking out." Veldanava Kur was the first dragon to have lived, also known as the star king dragon (the all-powerful). Then came his three brothers Veldora (Storm dragon), Velgrynd (Scorch dragon), and Velzard (frost dragon) The dragons were a lone species existing separately in a lair they carved out for themselves. They were unable to reproduce due to the lack of females and the inability to find their mates within other amortals, so their race eventually fizzled out. The last old dragon was fal

Albrecht had watched impassively as its scales began to dull, as its fire weakened, as its body grew tired and weak - but only after two decades of forced captivity in a toxin-filled chamber. And that’s how he’d known that his Gift - like many others - would be rendered useless against one of these beasts. All the while, the egg never hatched. By the time Albrecht came to assume the throne, having slain the last of his own family, the egg had gone nearly seventy years without hatching. The last time Albrecht had bothered visiting that abandoned fortress, he’d all but hurled it across the room, willing it to break. To birth the last living dragon, so that he could bend it to his will.

As the two extremely quick silhouettes exchanged several blows, it was like a whirlwind was blowing through the square, making a clean sweep of all opposition. They went to and fro with neither one being able to do anything, regardless if they were superior or inferior. In the end, as the two exchanged another strike, Dragon King retreated to the edge of the square and Tyr retreated to the entrance to the Siamese King’s bedchambers. “Impressive,” said Dragon King. As a myth of Thailand, he was undoubtedly the most powerful person in Thailand. Dragon King was now over a hundred years old. To think he would meet an expert like Tyr in his lifetime.

“Father what does this mean?” The king looked at his daughter seated near him, anxiously waiting for an answer. “If one dragon is awake, then many more will be….” The king gasped as he grasped the full horror of the thing. “Awake.” Jared completed as he stood up with a groan while holding his chest. “After, there will be chaos.” Wren leaned in. “But Father, what we learnt in Child’s Institute of Thought was that all dragons were extinct!” The king looked at his daughter. “No, my little songbird, they were never extinct. They were hibernating.”

This is a cavern of a room, more like a cave than a palace, dripping and moist, the only truly elegant thing is the throne of solid platinum and the bold dragon who sits upon it. Maximus, the Dragon King, Master of the 7 kingdoms of Luxandra, and Champion of the Sun Wars. My father. I have been waiting since I arrived last night, neither dismissed nor welcomed. The great blood dragon doesn't sleep at night, preferring to do his business by starlight and rest during the day. Some believe it is so he can be closer to his queen, who left two hundred years ago to reclaim her place as supreme queen of the heavens. Few know the truth.

Her eyes never left her husband who was leaning against his chair. “We've ruled this kingdom for nine hundred years before Vincent's father took over. And now, his son." Mr Gael started. He pushed to rest his face on his right hand with a long sigh. " I've never set my eyes on a dragon this huge Roseline. That dragon isn't a shifter. It's what we have been looking for for the past generations,” he concluded. Roseline dropped the teacup on the well polished jade tray and raised her head to meet his eyes. "What are you trying to suggest? Coincidence happen–”

I growl, annoyed at the fact Mallard left the door open and this idiot has now ruined my fantasy. “Your father wants to see you.” I nod, “I’ll be there in a few minutes.” I watch as he bows before turning around, “And close the door on your way out.” The door closes and I exhale sharply- what now? I know my father is anxious about me being able to produce an heir, but I am doing everything in my power to make sure it happens by the deadline. By dragon law, I need to have one in the next five years if I want to continue my rule, if I do not produce one, my insane brother could try to claim the throne, and no one would want that.

He then frowns, keeping his hand moving slightly on my scales he then whispers. “Forgive me but I thought your kind was extinct…” I smile to myself for just a moment before that same sadness returns to my heart as I remember. Just before my father died, he made a deal with the Moon Goddess to protect us he shared with me everything he knew. The history of our kind, how he became the only survivor, then how he met my mother and had me. Using our mate link I answer him. “For all intense purposes, they are. My father was the last of his kind. He was the last Dragon King.”

He asked. Wow, Micheal did know a lot. He even knew about the king and Queen? "You know about the dragons?" Anna asked shyly. Micheal grinned, "you mean that Edwin is a liche dragon and the great descendent of death? Believe me I know, death would not stop bragging." Anna nodded, "and also that Azian-" "Is the golden dragon prince. The first in ten thousand years and the last one ever?" Micheal asked. Both Anna and I nodded.
