The reflection raised her hands, and the mirrors lit with ancient, bright, silver-white light. “This place wasn’t a ruin.” “It was a throne room.” Alessia inhaled sharply. Kael’s eyes widened. Kade whispered, “A throne… for what?” The reflection answered, "The first empress." The air became tense. The ground pulsed. The ruins shifted, glowing white cracks racing across the stone. The Mirrors whispered in unison: “And now… she must rise again.” The reflection pointed directly at Alessia. “You must finish what I died for.”

"Of course, Your Majesty. Please, let us discuss this matter in private." As they entered the chamber, Queen Emilia closed the door behind them, her eyes never leaving Lord Arcturus.
