My sister won't breathe a word; she's always been like that. I focus on washing the dishes, placing the plates and utensils in their rightful places. Finally, I'm finished. I hear the sound of laughter coming from the living room, my sister's voice booming above the rest. Sarah is always at her happiest and loudest when she is with Aiden and Bryan, especially with Aiden. It is not surprising. Of course, Aiden is her best friend. That is why I don't want anything to do with Aiden anymore. I don't want to be the one to ruin their friendship. Fuck how I feel about Blacksmith.

As the first born of the Campbells, my sister was to inherit the family business once she turned 25, and everyone was anticipating the great change she carried on her back. That was until she died from a drastic accident that changed everything completely, an accident that ruined me completely, and an accident that left me scarred for life. “I told you this would happen!” Waitㅡ what?! I struggled to form words. “Wait, I can explain. She's lying!” His mum stepped forward, fury written across her face. “Is it not enough? The havoc and the rumors you've spread against your own sister?!” She seethed, voice harsh. I took a step back, struggling to form words. “Youㅡ That's not what happened, hear me outㅡ she's lying to you all! She cheated on Alpha Orionㅡ”

She doesn’t have her sister now… nor any of her kin… is there still a meaning to her life? She raised her head and looked at the sky as her eyes dimmed. “Sister…” she muttered. “Who’s that?!” a sharp voice spoke. “It must be the witch!” The two exclaimed. Then, they called for more people to come and catch the witch. Henna’s heart was beating very fast as she immediately ran. She actually doesn’t want to escape… but, she wanted to see her sister for the last time!

She held onto my arm tightly, and I could feel her hand growing cold. “Are you okay?” I asked, concerned. She nodded. “I’ll go ahead. Take care!” she said and quickly went back inside the house. I tilted my head in confusion before turning to Vinn, who was still looking at the closed door. I needed an explanation for what was happening! “Vinn—I mean, Mr. Zuniga, how do you know my sister?” I asked, puzzled. “How come she’s your sister? You have different last names. Is she Sir Gael’s niece too?” he asked, returning the question to me.

“We don’t need guess work in this situation. We need to be sure of who the person was.” “Did you just say her sister?” I asked. “Yes, she has a sister that is like three years older than her.” “Selena doesn’t have a sister,” I stated. “She is the last child of my parents. We are only two. Or did the sister fall from heaven?” “Are you sure about what you are saying?” Lorenzo questioned. “Very sure,” I assured. “Then we need to get the so called sister,” Lorenzo said and we both left the lounge together.

Delanie walked in accompanied by the same huge man that had pushed me in. "And what are you doing here?" I asked, annoyed at her presence. "I just came to say my last goodbyes to my dearest and only sister." Delanie said and smirked at me. She hugged me but i pushed her off me. "I have no sister." I stated and unexpectedly, Delanie laughed it off. "Goodone sis." she said to me. Delanie noticed the two ladies i was standing close to their beds and she rolled her eyes at them. "I see you've met those two. Take it from me sis. Don't bother talking to them. They are not your level." Delanie said to me.

I pause, then add, “Mum never showed me any. Even when I asked.” He says nothing, just cups water in his hands and pours it gently over my skin. Warm. Comforting. But I miss his touch, miss the way his fingers make me feel like I’m safe, like I’m not broken. After a beat, I ask, “Was your sister involved in the fight tonight?” “She was upstairs. Fighting the women and any of Damian’s remaining kin,” he exhales. “She’s leader of the female betas.” I nod silently, the memory of her fierce expression when she barged into my room resurfacing. I banish it.

She was wearing a long dress that didn't show much of her skin except for her shoulders and arms. "Scarlett was the best sister ever and I never even noticed. She was always there for me. She loved me even though I was horrible to her. She forgave me after everything. She died because of my ego and need to be a Luna. I wish that I had at least a moment with my sister again. While I stay behind the screen, watch, calculate the right move for her and take care of everything she would need for the job.
