But after what she pulled on my birthday, I did wish she would meet a terrible end. And look at fate—just a few hours later, she ended up dying in the worst way possible, her body burned so badly that there was nothing left for DNA testing. I try again, scooting closer and placing my hand on his shoulder. “I know you miss them, Damon. But they’re gone. Do you think they would want to see you like this? No, they wouldn’t. Elara and Cora cared so much about you. Trust me when I say this—they would be heartbroken to know you’ve stopped taking care of yourself.”

"He says things are changing." "Things are always changing in this house, but the result is always the same," Harrison said. He reached out, surprisingly, and placed a hand on my shoulder. It wasn't an affectionate gesture; it was a warning. "I have seen girls like you before, Sasha. Girls who thought they were special enough to survive the Grants. They don't. They don't even get to leave with a story. They simply... disappear. No records, no footprints, nothing." A cold shiver raced down my spine. The word disappear carried a weight that made the air in the hall feel thin.

His tone stayed flat. “The doctors could not save her. It happened about an hour ago.” I opened my mouth, but no sound came out. My chest tightened, and my breath caught. Morgan was gone. The woman who had made instant noodles for me, shared her food, and promised to take me away during the storm was gone. “The police already came.” Daniel pulled a chair over and sat down. “I told them my mother found you stealing company information and trying to use it for money. During the argument, she became emotional, made a mistake, and hit the guardrail.”

She went to the main building of Laurasia while enduring the fact that Jackson was getting unfairly ruined because of her. Since she could not contact him, all there was left to do was for her to help him in the way she could. She dialled Grayson's number, but it simply went to voicemail. Either way, she still spoke. "You win, but before I sign our divorce papers, grant this one wish of mine." She then pressed the highest floor of the building. "Meet me at the place where we first met and watch the sunset with me."

Did we? My breath ceased, and darkness surrounded me. The last thing I ever saw was her pale yet beautiful face and Killian kneeling over her with a dropped head filled with grief and regret, before darkness consumed me.

[Didn't get to say this earlier, but I'm out of forgiveness cards. [Let's get a divorce.] My phone started blowing up right after.

Her arm dropped back limply. Her vision dimmed. Her breath weakened. The phone kept ringing. Someone was calling her. Someone was trying to reach her. She hoped it was Xaviet. A tear slipped down her cheek, mixing with the blood. “This… can’t be… the end…” she whispered, her voice barely audible. And as darkness finally wrapped around her, pulling her into its abyss, Her last thought wasn’t of fear. It was that of fury. “I’m not done yet.” Then the world went black.

She dying to touch him, to hug him, to tell him that she love him, to plan every single day on how she would spend it with him until the end of her time. They faced this final chapter of their journey with grace and acceptance, knowing that their love would endure beyond the bounds of mortality. In Sarah's final moments, surrounded by the warmth of their shared memories and the love of family and friends, she whispered to Thomas, "Our love has been a symphony, Thomas—a melody that will continue to play long after we are gone. Promise me that you will carry our love in your heart and share it with the world."
