Novel & Cerita The Last Vampire Christopher Pike Audiobook

Riley shivers. "Answer my question," I say simply. He coughs. "There is no one else," "You'd better reach for your gun." "Pardon?" "You are going to die now. I assume you prefer to die fighting.," "Miss Perne--" "I am five thousand years old." He blinks. "What?" I give him my full, uncloaked gaze, which I have used in the past--alone--to kill. "I am a vampire," I say softly. "And you have pissed me off."

I take my seat to have my breakfast. I guess the girls and their father have gone back home. I hope they’re not still shaken up by what happened yesterday. I feel bad for them; they lost their mother in the hands of those rogue vampires, and seeing them attack must have triggered their PTSD. I wish I could have comforted them at least. The door swings open, and I pause with a table knife in one hand and bread in the other. I smile when I see it’s Christopher, but my smile falters because Christopher doesn’t look his cheerful self.

- Bishop HyunWan I ask heaven that this being remains in its confinement. May no one invoke them, may no one call them. It's terrible. - Archbishop Michael Mic. May God have this book under His feet, and may no one, absolutely no one, come across it. If that happens, I sense that it will go wherever it is and the unimaginable will happen. - Speaker Mark Tack The book closed abruptly, startling him. That last entry, that name, that speaker was the one who passed away three years ago. That speaker whom very few know the reason for his death, no one knows exactly what went through his mind when he decided to end his life in front of an entire mass.

Christopher said, his deep voice full of urgency. Vladimir's brow furrowed in concern. "What do they want?" Christopher hesitated for a moment before answering, "My sources tell me it's something to do with the increasing vampire attacks in the area. Apparently, there's a human organization that's been hunting vampires, and they are getting more and more daring with each attack." Vladimir's face hardened. "We can’t let this continue! I'll meet with them and see what we can do to put a stop to these attacks once and for all!”

Two to go. The remaining two hesitated now, their confidence crumbling. But Liam didn’t stop. He pounced on the nearest one, pinning it to the ground beneath his massive paws. With a vicious snarl, he tore into its chest, crushing its ribs and heart in one swift movement. The vampire let out a final gasp before turning to dust beneath him. The last one tried to run. Liam’s golden eyes glowed dangerously. Cowards didn’t deserve mercy. With a powerful kick, he launched himself forward, closing the distance in a heartbeat. His teeth sank into the back of the vampire’s skull, crushing it instantly.

“It’s pretty interesting, actually. And could be a disaster now that I’m thinking about it. Lucas told me there are a handful of vampires who don’t want to assimilate, and they go around trying to make things difficult for those who have. I’m not sure the specific details, but he made it sound like these vampires are going after the businesses he owns or something like that. Basically fucking shit up in order to get back at him for following the rules of the Vampire Council. Three vampires showed up at my house last night after they got my address from Eliza, Lucas’s vampire daughter or sister or whatever you’d call her, and he was not happy.” “Oh, wow. That is interesting and you’re right.

Kent spoke up, “No, don’t give them to him. He’ll get twenty feet and get killed, then we won’t have them anymore.” Then Steve saw something out of the corner of his eye. A lanky, long haired vampire step out of the hall and into the commons walking towards pod one. Keeping an eye on the floor to keep out of the blood pools, the vampire stopped outside the pod and looked at the survivors inside. He didn’t say anything, just scanned what he could see and smiled. Steve pressed a communication button and spoke on the outside speakers. “What do you want?” “How many of you are there?” the vampire asked in an awkward British accent. His voice carried from the microphone on the outside of the pod.

Author’s POV "HOW?!" Christopher snarled, his voice echoing through the dark chamber as his foot slammed into the table, sending shards of glass and scattered papers flying. The wooden frame cracked from the impact, pictures fluttering down...images of Nicholas’ charred remains, Alex's mangled body, and a single bloodstained feather stamped with Kira’s crest. Mockery. Pure, deliberate mockery. “She sent me his fucking ashes in a black box,” he growled, pacing back and forth like a caged beast. “His ashes. Like a damn souvenir!”

It also mentions some of the famous vampires such as Vlad Tepes or what everyone likes to call Dracula, the Countess Elizabeth Bathory, Mercy Brown, Arnold Paole, Peter Plogojowitz, Richard Trenton Chase, and others. I didn't notice time passing until a knock on the door got me out of guard. '' Come in '' I shout "You don't have to scream, you know, I can even hear the beat of your hearts how about a whisper from you.'' exclaimed Chris, and I was dumbfounded for a while '' Did you just knock on the door'' I asked, and he laughed '' And this is all you noticed so far?'' '' Yeah, cause it's wired. You never knocked."

Chris held up his paper next, which had a red D. "Well, at least he's a vampire. It won't take him long," Nikki said. Kate laughed. "Wonder what else he's fast at?" Chris winked at the girls with a broad smile on his face. The two had forgotten that vampires can hear just as well as wolves, if not better. Zach also got a D. His brother Chris pat him on the back and smiled. Brad was the only one with an F, as usual. As for Scott, Emma, Elijah, and Josh. They all got A's
