The Last Seven Days

The Last Seven Days

His words were a blade stabbing my heart deep, twisting it. All the words I could have said came down to just one word. "Alright." After all, in six days, I would be gone from this world forever. Nothing else mattered anymore. Hearing me relent, Jared let out a sigh of relief and turned to Melody, joy in his eyes. I turned to leave, but he stopped me. He took a blanket and draped it over my shoulders, gently brushing back the stray hair with my ear. "Why are you wearing so little? You'll catch a cold."

The last Guardian

The last Guardian

I can’t believe mister Jackson refuses to check out back, there is absolutely no way that was just an echo, there’s no way the sound of a tv could carry in a way that it sounds like there’s a battle going on just outside the door I was standing at, even if he had the windows open and the volume at it’s maximum, it just can not be, the shouting, the cussing, the sound of that angry dog, that was undoubtedly real and it was close!

Her Last Death

Her Last Death

Lysara was standing there, her dark presence spreading out like a stain on fine fabric, yet even she seemed a bit shaken. No one spoke at first. Then one elder stepped forward from the shadows. White hair. Hollow eyes. Skin stretched too tightly across ancient bones. He gazed straight into my eyes and softly spoke a single word, its meaning lost in the depths of time, a language so ancient it seemed to echo with the whispers of forgotten centuries. I didn’t understand it. But Cassian went perfectly still beside me. The elder’s expression held no curiosity. Only fear. Ice spread through my veins. Whatever I was becoming—

The Last Chance

I smiled sincerely and turned away from the prison. After seeing Vivian for the last time, I would never need to see her again in this life. She would disappear from my world forever. And my world would finally see the warmth of spring.

About Last Night

About Last Night

She added tiny cubic zirconia studded earrings, her finishing touch. Jenny placed her bag in the lockable cupboard where they leave the till and locked it. She decided she would pick it up tomorrow so she could finish her essay. It was her final one. If all went well, she’d be graduating in a months’ time. She flicked off all the lights. Checked everything was as it should be giving the café a final sweep with her eyes. Sighing she walked out of the café’s front door and into the foyer of the publishing house. Joey’s was right across the road from the publishers so Jenny had chosen to leave this way instead of her usual exit route.

Last Chance

Tears brim his eyes and the last question comes out in a shaky breath. My tears stream down my face for the millionth time today. The round diamond sparkles spectacularly like the stars in the night sky. It's absolutely stunning. All the pain and suffering have led us to this moment. This moment in time where we can finally accept that nothing will stand in our way and nothing will ever tear us apart. We are it for each other forever. "Yes," I whisper. The End

This is a good novel. I love the synopsis and the start. It is thrilling in its own way. Good dialogues and grammatical structure author. This book is a keeper n it is quite lovely. I look forward to seeing Valerie and Enzo rise and conquer the underworld and enact their revenge. Good work author.

The words that the author used in each scene were appropriately enough for the reader to have a clear imagination of what is actually happening. She minimized the dialogues but the descriptions were satisfying. Good job, author ?

The Billionaire's Debt-Bride

The Billionaire's Debt-Bride

of a humanity that had finally, painfully, and beautifully grown up. "Rule 41," I whispered, the words appearing in the Golden Ink on the VTOL’s deck. "What is the final rule of the Night, Mama?" Thomas asked. "When the world goes silent, the only truth left is the one you speak to the person standing next to you." The "Billionaire's Debt" was paid. The world was blank. And for the first time in history, we had the right pens to write the rest of the story.
