The Lazarus Effect Novel Novels & Stories

A small chuckle and my eyes fly open as I realise where I am and who I’m with. “You like that little one?” His deep voice sends a shiver down my spine and it plants itself in my core increasing my need to ease the tingling and I give an involuntary gasp. His deep purple eyes are looking straight into mine capturing me and I lose all sense of what is going on. Again I feel the touch at my core, pressing, rubbing. It feels so good and I moan, but then my brain springs into action and I hastily push away from Lazarus. Kneeling on the bed with some distance to this devilishly handsome and extremely sexy alien and I feel my face go red with embarrassment and anger.

"The parasites grow and grow till they burst out. Making it difficult to move around beforehand. With the little critters eating away at one's synapses it makes it to difficult to do much of anything." "Sounds terrible. How does one get them?" Melinda did not like the sound of them. "How do you protect against them?" "You can't. Treatment is the only option if you are not a Lighting cultivator. The parasites are really rare. Only someone raising them particularly do they have a chance of even living here. The environment is to rich. They prefer bright places with lots and lots of discharges of energy." Ren relieved her fears. "I doubt more than 30 or so people are afflicted with this."

Johhan made the wisest choice he could make and returned quickly to the Underworld with the rest of the army. Elisabeth collected the ashes left over from Alistair and went on a journey to scatter them all over the world. Everyone thought he couldn't resurrect himself, but the Council preferred to be 100% sure. Alistair was too dangerous an enemy to ignore, even after his death. Nothing could be certain, since Alistair's gift was precisely to resurrect demons. Who knows, maybe it worked for him too?

Lazarus said as he then turned his head to me, his sharp maniac eyes meeting with mine. "Your turn." My breath hitched as he slowly walked toward me. My legs kick and squirm as I try to get out of these ropes, the heavy footsteps only make it worse. Lazarus then zipped open the black duffel bag that contained drugs, syringes, weapons, and other contraband. "You'll just sleep for a bit, no harm intended." "No!" I wailed as I saw him take out a cloth, and puts medicine in it. I know it'll make me sleep.

I couldn’t really hate her for always seeing the best in people, for wanting to believe that goodness could bloom in the dark and that even without the light to show us the right path, we could always believe the tug of our hearts. Because somehow, for some reason, it always led one in the right direction. "Santo cielo! Se non è Lizzy Jones," I heard a man laugh. [Holy cow! If it isn't the Lizzy Jones] Blinking back to the real world, I realized I was no longer walking and was instead standing in the centre of a long and deserted corridor, save for me and a young man who seemed to be having the best time of his life. A young man that I had never seen.
