She was broken, and I feared I was losing her too. I couldn’t just let her slip away. I couldn’t just sit there. I had to try to get us out. I screamed, pushing against the invisible chains that bound me. My body was heavy, aching, but I refused to give in. My eyes burned, my muscles screamed in protest, but I had to move. I had to save us. I forced my body forward, straining with every ounce of strength I had left. My arms and legs felt like they were going to snap, my head throbbed as though it might explode, but I pushed through. My heart raced in my chest as I tried to break free from the spell.

Somewhere behind her, a glass hit the floor. Freya let out a sound inside her chest that wasn't quite a howl and wasn't quite a sob. Holy moon goddess. We're doomed, Liora. We are completely doomed. Leoric stared at her. For the first time all night, he actually looked at her. Elowen's smile had slipped. Liora picked up the gift bag from the table. The one she'd wrapped herself that morning with the ribbon she'd tied three times to get it right. She set it back down. She didn't want it anymore.

Only the stillness of an open grave. Ellie’s signet ring didn't just glow; it shrieked. A jagged, pulsing crimson light radiated from the stone, casting long, distorted shadows across the grey dust. She reached out with her inner sight, trying to find the golden threads of the Alliance, but what she found made her stumble. The threads weren't just frayed; they were being knotted into intricate, suffocating patterns—the **Legion of Bone** was literally weaving the life force of the sleeping wolves into a shroud.

It leaned. A voice echoed through the chamber. Not from above. Not from any direction. From everywhere. Warm. Ancient. Measured. “You opened the channels.” Lily’s breath stilled. She knew that voice. Not from memory. From blood. “I redirected strain,” she said softly. “You awakened inheritance.” The crimson smoke condensed. Shaping. Not fully forming a body. But a presence. A silhouette of flame — wings suggested in shadow, crown implied in embers. Lucifer did not descend like heaven.

“At first it was charms—small things to enhance her beauty, to mask her flaws. Then it grew darker. Spells to mask her scent. To twist the bond. To mimic what she could never naturally have.” Aria’s breath caught. “That’s how she stole mine…” “Yes,” Lorien said bitterly. “She discovered how to sever the sacred ties of the Goddess, how to corrupt fate itself. One night, she came to me, cold as ice, and said the bond meant nothing to her. That I was beneath her. She spat on the bond, mocked the very gift wolves spend their lives praying to find. She walked away without a second thought, chasing the crown she thought Kaelen could give her.”

As she turned to leave, she nearly ran into someone standing impossibly close behind her. “Lucien, you scared me.” His pale eyes gleamed in the darkness. "Playing dangerous games, little wolf." Liora recovered quickly, lifting her chin defiantly. "I don't know what you're talking about." "Don't you?" His smile was cold. "The wards didn't fail on their own. Someone is actively draining them, using blood magic to corrupt what Korra created. And now she's rushing straight into a trap that could kill her." He leaned closer, his voice dropping to something dangerous. "The question is: are you working for Elder Verran, or have you found yourself an even more sinister patron?"

“I need to leave, we don’t have anything left here to do.” “So we are safe and we would not need to do anything again?” I asked her and she nodded. “All that is left is for our legacies to realize their fate.” Themis said absentmindedly before she smiled at me, her attention coming back to her surroundings. “But that will be a long time for now seeing that the Legacies are not yet born.”

everyone’s head snapped to the treeline as Azreal and Lila came walking toward them. A/N So I was thinking, (scary I know) some of you might have questions I dont see or get to, and technology and I are not really the best of friends (it's embarassingly bad) so I dont have an IG for Legacy or anything like that, but if you would like to ask me anything or maybe have me clear up anything about Legacy or any of the characters I would love to do so, as long as it doesnt spoil anything for the future lol. The air dropped cold. Revan’s mother’s face hardened. “No,” she whispered. “Not him.” Jordan’s grip tightened on his blade. “Who?” The voice came again, clearer this time, quiet, cruel, and familiar. “Your war started the day she was born.” I felt my chest tighten. That voice. I knew it. But it couldn’t be. The flames blew out, drowning the room in darkness. And I heard it, that same voice, right beside my ear. “Hello again, Lora.”
