The Lycan's Obsession

The Lycan's Obsession

I had found a secret latch at a particular shelf a while ago so I was curious to see where it would lead me. But, for that, I had to find the latch. I forgot which shelf exactly I had found it hidden in so I spent a good thirty minutes looking at the shelves, pulling out the books to locate it again. And while browsing through the shelves, my gaze fell on the lone tomb that was placed away from the rest. A big brownish black and weathered book was enclosed in a glass case that was kept far away from the shelves and at a corner most would not pay attention to.

I am not often sucked into a story like this, but I actually care about the characters. the male lead is intriguing and mysterious. i like that the female lead, is strong. I'd love to see where you go with this. I'll be checking out your other stories while waiting and anticipating your next update

In my honest opinion, it's a good story, but I'm not done with the book yet. I'm struggling with it. The author has drug the story out and jumps ahead without clarifying things. (Like all of a sudden, the FL has magic, but for 113 chapters, there is no mention of it or her being a hybrid.)

The Lost Alpha Heir

The Lost Alpha Heir

Seventy-four: Mia Crescent Somehow, I had survived the fight. Mason took me back to New York. Valentina was dead. My uncle was dead. My brother was dead. And Edwina had nearly died in the process, but she had managed to survive somehow. There was also something strange that had passed between her and Cole that I couldn’t explain. One day, back in New York when Harper and I had been reunited, I had been having lunch with her in the big kitchen as Mason was off working on something pack related for me.

Contracted To Marry The Alpha King

Contracted To Marry The Alpha King

Isabella cried, but he was already engaging the creature, his movements a blur of speed and precision. Luca grabbed her arm. "We need to move, now!" Reluctantly, Isabella followed, her heart aching with fear for her mate. They raced through the corridors, the sounds of battle fading behind them. Finally, they reached a massive chamber, the heart of the Forbidden Sanctum. In the center stood a pedestal, and on it rested a glowing, ancient tome. "We found it," her father breathed, approaching the pedestal. "The Book of Shadows." As he reached out to take the book, a voice echoed through the chamber, filled with malevolent glee.

Torn Between Her Alphas

Torn Between Her Alphas

“Shit.” “What?” “Let’s get inside.” She dragged me back into the cabin. “Calder, where did you say they found the book?” “Tomb of Sphalerite. They called it Tomb because during that time, those people surrounding that cave prayed inside and they believed the gemstone gave them mental balance and spiritual guidance and helped them connect to the earth’s energy.” “Okay.” She rubbed her temple. “This is crazy.” “What’s crazy?” “Never mind, Ryden.” She sat back, and I joined her.

Suddenly i became a goddess!

Suddenly i became a goddess!

And she would fight to the end. Together, they entered the tomb, the darkness swallowing them whole. The tomb's air was thick with the scent of decay and ancient magic, a deep, oppressive silence filling the space. In the heart of the tomb, surrounded by crumbling stone walls and forgotten relics, the seven spirits of sin stood in a circle. Nihil, their leader, a being of pure malice, stood at the center. His dark aura pulsed like a black sun, casting an eerie glow across the tomb.

River witch

River witch

But it bore a tattoo—a sigil Maya had seen before, once carved into a drowned body the trench spat up during the first war. It read: > “Testament of the Tide-Forsaken.” --- They found the vault behind a curtain of sea-thread. A stone altar, overgrown with memory coral, pulsed at the room’s center. And resting on it: a book. No cover. No binding. Just pages formed from the stretched skins of those who’d survived too long underwater. Maya reached out. The book opened itself. No wind. No touch. Just will. Inside, words carved in bleeding ink appeared:

Buried and Forgotten

Buried and Forgotten

Just then, another boy chimed in, "He's not lying, Ms. Gibson. Liam told us. He said that Celeste's mom stole his dad and broke up his family. He said that Celeste and her mom got kicked out and were sent to Homewrecker Country." James frowned with displeasure, and his expression turned frighteningly grim. He looked at the two children and asked, "What else did Liam say?" "Liam said Celeste is a bastard child. He would always snatch her things and tell her to get lost. He kept saying his Daddy only loves him," the young boy answered eagerly. Homewrecker? Bastard child? James felt a pang in his heart when he heard that. A pain he had never known surged through him instantly.

The Sickened Luna's Last Chance

The Sickened Luna's Last Chance

“It allows us to keep the space air-controlled.” Liam and I nodded, and the librarian left us. Once we were alone, we looked around, not sure where to start. Finally, we decided to split up; I took a section on ancient mythologies to start while Liam took the section on priceless artifacts. It felt like hours that we searched. We scoured the shelves high to low, fingers becoming coated with dust and the scent of old paper. But we found nothing on magical crystals that could expel dark magic. I began to lose hope, and was about to suggest trying a different approach when Liam suddenly shouted, “Aha!” from across the room. Reshelving the book I was holding on hidden tombs, I rushed over to whe

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

“But time has a way of reminding people what really matters.” He nods, gathering his things. “Let’s hope so. For now, try not to blow up my lab while I’m gone.” “No promises,” I say dryly, and his laughter follows him out the door. I move to the other desk, where my laptop is already open. A series of digital images fill the screen, scans sent by one of Josh’s archivists from his pack’s private library. The Book of First Light. The oldest surviving text on celestial beings. I can’t believe I’m even considering this as a possibility, but I’m out of ideas at this point.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

The Pretty Prince and the Beast King

The Pretty Prince and the Beast King

Aradaa asked as they stumbled into a wider chamber. The walls were lined with alcoves. Not for pipes. For bodies. Thousands of them. Wrapped in decaying linen, their bones gray and brittle in the damp. "The Kings of the Ridge," Kaelor said. He didn't look at the tombs. He looked at the floor. "The catacombs. We’re under the foundation of the world." "Lucian said there’s a way out through the sea-gates." "Lucian lied." Kaelor stopped at a heavy iron grate in the floor. He gripped the bars. "The sea-gates are a death trap. We go to the heart. We go to the root."
