Pregnant with the Billionaire Vampire Heir

Pregnant with the Billionaire Vampire Heir

I'd been doing this for weeks, a chemical bandage on a terminal wound. The trials with Nyra and Xavier had led nowhere. Since that last, disastrous episode where I'd lost control, they had made no significant progress and I was exhausted of it all. Physically, mentally, spiritually. I was dying in my dreams and fading in my waking life. I needed answers. I knew where I had to go. The Vampire Coven archives were not a place one visited lightly. It was a labyrinthine library hidden deep beneath the city, a silent, dusty tomb of knowledge containing over a million collections of our history. It was the only place left where I might find a clue.

HIS BEAUTIFUL CAGE

HIS BEAUTIFUL CAGE

I focused on the sound of his lungs—the same lungs that had breathed life into me in the safehouse, the same man who was currently my only anchor in a world turned to ash. We finally emerged into the bowels of the New York Public Library—the Milstein Research Stacks. In the daytime, this place was a sanctuary of knowledge. In the blackout, it was a haunted forest. The flashlight in Cassian’s hand was shielded by a red filter, casting a bloody, rhythmic pulse over the endless rows of shelving. Millions of books sat in the dark, their spines like ribs, their contents a silent witness to a history that was being unwritten in real-time.

My Luna's Revenge (Blinded by Fury)

My Luna's Revenge (Blinded by Fury)

I leaned closer, his breath shallow. "Good," My father said at last, his tone grave. "But we must tread carefully. That book was never meant to see the light again. It carries knowledge that twisted the ancestors, that cost the southern packs their souls. The council buried it for a reason." My pulse quickened. A forbidden book, unearthed from a cemetery? Why were they speaking of such things now? I need to get my hands on it His Beta hesitated. "You believe it has something to do with her disappearance?

The Alpha's Contract Luna

The Alpha's Contract Luna

I don't know what happened in the last few hours that has made him bring his guard down, and I know that it won't last for long, but I'm grateful for it. “So what was missing, books?” I asked him. “Not books necessarily, but what they contained. Knowledge, the books in this library have been carefully curated for the past four years. It has everything in the supernatural world, every story, every lore; you can find them here. Even grimoires, and texts that were thought to be lost or destroyed.” He tells me, and all of a sudden, I'm looking at the library with fresh eyes. When I first walked in here, I thought that it was just a normal library. “That is amazing, Damon; what you've achieved he

The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

I asked him as he remounted behind me, taking the reins. “Aperianu,” Rivyn commanded the portal to open and led Coryfe through. We stepped out into forest. I felt my hair lift as the portal closed behind us. “That should throw them off for a while if they think to pursue. “As to the books, well,” he contemplated as he guided Coryfe at a sedate walk along the winding forest path. “The books I seek are unique, the knowledge written within is recorded nowhere else, and they have been lost for considerable time. Many historians record where they were lost and to whom. It is not that difficult to track them down. Retrieving them can be another matter, however, which is why they remain lost.”

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

Stolen Luna By The Rival Alpha

Stolen Luna By The Rival Alpha

I turned away from them, deliberately flipping through the open books to avoid accidentally closing any of them. “Hey, it looks like there’s a missing page,” I said, pointing to a navy blue tome in front of me. The pages had yellowed with age, and the writing was a deep chocolate brown. “This page mentions a cemetery a few miles from the estate.” I wondered aloud, “Could the Gomez family be buried there? Maybe someone searching for Anastasia encountered trouble.” “Sure, I’m ready to go,” Frederick said, his voice steady with determination. He wasted no time, heading straight to the foyer and grabbing the keys to the sport bikes from the hook. He tossed a pair of keys to me with a casual flic

Buried and Forgotten

Buried and Forgotten

James murmured to himself. After checking the time, he put a hand to his forehead in exasperation at his forgetfulness. He had been too anxious. Celeste was probably still at kindergarten. He grabbed the treats again and drove over to wait outside the kindergarten. Children began to come out one after another, but Celeste never appeared. James got out of the car and headed in. One of the teachers on duty, Mindy Gibson, recognized him immediately. "Hello there. Liam isn't here today," Mindy said.

Fated (Book #11 in the Vampire Journals)

Fated (Book #11 in the Vampire Journals)

A lost book. Caitlin got up, encouraged, returning the books to the library clerk, and went back to the computer. She changed her keyword search terms. Lost cities. Mythical cities. Legendary cities. Vampire cities. Vampire races. Lost races. Extinct races…. Caitlin tried dozens of combinations, and this time she ended up with an improbably huge list of books, hundreds of them, having to do with lost civilizations and lost cities and races. They were mostly about mythology and archaeology in general, and not about vampires. Yet she found it encouraging nonetheless. Maybe she needed to think of the vampires as a lost race, a lost people, a lost city.

The Alpha’s Dead Wife is Back

The Alpha’s Dead Wife is Back

"We don't use money here, Oneiric. We trade in favors. Secrets. And labor." She lowered herself to the ground. "What can you do? besides warp reality when you cry?" "I’m an archivist," Emily said. "I organize chaos. I find patterns where other people see noise." Morrigan raised an eyebrow. She gestured to a heavy iron door at the back of the atrium. "The Library of the Lost," Morrigan said. "We have scrolls dating back to the First Era. Grimoires written in dead tongues. Prophecies that drove their authors mad. It hasn't been organized in three centuries because most people who try end up bleeding from their eyes."

It's hard to focus without her, but I lead Axar into the small library with me as I begin to search. Having been alive for so long I've acquired many books and ancient pieces of literature. Some are in immaculate shape, others are torn segments and several pages, barely tethered together by bits of spine. Many of these are family heirlooms as well, handwritten and handed down to future generations for guidance. Some are my own notes and contacts, roughly scribed here and there and then stuffed back onto shelves. I find several books on banshees and a couple on cambions. I find some on death as well, and I stack it into my arms with the rest the pile. "Take this one too." Axar softly suggest
