THE LOST TIDE KING

THE LOST TIDE KING

Do not touch her. She is my sister. She may be the seed. The title settled over us like cold rain. Betrayal seed. Grandmother’s voice came from every canal. One minute. The false king’s smoke poured through the cracks in the dome. Silvercrest sounded above us. Car alarms. Breaking glass. A distant r oar from the sea. The small white wolf stepped into the black flame. Its body began to disappear. Find the messages inside the crown. I grabbed for it. My hand passed through light.

Lost in Thy Arms

Lost in Thy Arms

For three days, he had checked on them every morning, waiting for them to hatch. Her hands moved through the memories until they touched something she had not looked at in years. A book. His favorite storybook, the spine cracked and the cover worn. The one with the rabbit who loved his mother more than the moon and the stars and the whole wide world. She opened it, and the letter fell into her lap. She knew it was there. She had known it the moment she picked up the book. But still, seeing it—the folded piece of paper, creased and soft, with Mommy written on the front in a child's wobbly handwriting—made her breath catch.

The Lost Sister (The Lost Sister Series Book 1-3)

The Lost Sister (The Lost Sister Series Book 1-3)

she whispered, “tried to keep you close, even as memories slipped through my fingers. There were nights when I reached for your voices, desperate for a sign that I hadn’t been forgotten. I wanted to believe that love could outlast distance and pain, that somewhere, in some small way, you were still searching for me.” Her gaze wandered to the window, where the sunlight seemed softer now, painting gentle gold across the walls. “But the truth is, I lost parts of myself in that darkness—and parts of you guys, too. What remains are fragments, bright and aching, stitched together by hope that’s been battered but not destroyed. Even after tragedy, even when the memories of them drifted far from me,

The Lost Heirs

The Lost Heirs

“Why?” A wry line carves itself on her face. “Children tend to vanish when they venture too far from home. I would hate for any of you to end up like the lost heirs,” she says, and I think she meant it as a joke because her dreary eyes shine with dark humour, but I also think it was a sincere warning. “The lost… heirs?” I repeat questioningly, hopefully a worthy prompt for an elucidation. A ghoulish glint sparks in Hilda’s dull eyes. “The lost heirs; twins that braved into the woods. Rumours speculate that it was to visit their favourite spot by the lake which they visited religiously, but one day… they never returned.”

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

She’d seen a lot of lost wielders, lost shadows crying in despair, begging for something to latch unto because they knew that the place where they’d be falling was their worst nightmare. “Sleep, dear child! You’ve had enough!” Marjorie breathed heavily when another series of tears trickled to her cheeks. Crouching, she wiped all of those away, caressing her hair, whispering words she didn’t even know Z would hear. She just felt compelled to say so, because she, too, had been lost a lot of times.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

Two Lost Souls

And when Florainne looked down, Brieanna took steps closer and in front of the young lady, she squatted, enough for her level the young lady. "Listen Florainne, your brother was losing his self when he did that ... that horrible thing," Brieanna put a finger down Florainne's chin and lift her chin up, just so they would see eye to eye. And then flashes a comforting smile. "William left to find himself so one day he can come back to you. It doesn't mean he hates you when he did that nor when he left. Your brother loves you." What Was Lost

What Was Lost

Before my mother passed away, she often told me, "You must first learn to love yourself before you can love others." Looking back now, she was absolutely right. I had already lost sight of myself, which was why I ended up losing my lover and child as well. After the meal, I heard a buzzing coming from the couch. When I walked over, I realized the buzzing came from Serene's tablet. It had been buzzing nonstop with notifications from her messaging app. In the past, I would never touch any of her devices. According to her, all her messages contained company secrets, since she was in charge of a major company.
