And Una could back out, she was already walking into a room decked with colorful mini strobe lights, pumpkin lanterns with tea light candles inside, and other ghoulish decorations scattered everywhere creating a spooky atmosphere. An evil laugh track was blending perfectly with the disco music, filling the air under a controlled volume to remind everyone that they were still in their workplace and they should still be in their best behavior. It was Una’s first time to ever attend a Halloween party as crowded and as noisy as the one she was in at the moment. Everywhere she looked, people were in costumes and laughing, drinking, and talking like they hadn’t seen each other just a few hours ago

The stench of decay and despair fills my nostrils, threatening to overwhelm my senses. The flickering light bulb above casts eerie shadows on the walls, distorting reality and heightening my anxiety. As I reach the bottom of the stairs, my eyes scan the room, searching for any sign of danger. The silence is deafening, broken only by the sound of my own rapid breaths. Every corner, every crevice, holds the potential for a lurking threat. I can almost feel Juan's presence, his sadistic gaze burning into my soul.

She got her sight some seconds later and when she did, what she saw was outlandish. “Whoa,” Miles said looking at the place. The walls were painted bright orange. Tiny orange pumpkins were used to decorate the room. The place was vague, words couldn’t describe it but they could at least try. The room looked like it was decorated for Halloween because there were fake cobwebs at the rims of the roof. Or were they real? Fake bats and spiders were hanged at different intervals of the room.

The only sound was their footfalls; echoed from the stone of their surroundings. William watched the light dance around them and decided if ever a place would be haunted, this was it. They passed a room that clearly served as the holding cell. It stood empty and stale with disuse. It reeked of impending madness; the opening yawning before him like an omen.

The stage was set, and the final act beckoned, promising a climax that would shape the course of our lives and the fate of the supernatural world forever. And so, with determination burning in our eyes, we stepped forward, our hearts pounding with a mix of anticipation and fear. The dimly lit room was cloaked in an eerie silence, broken only by the sound of our footsteps echoing against the cold, stone walls. The figure before us remained shrouded in darkness, their presence almost palpable, emanating an aura of ancient power.

She knocked on the door, and a voice from inside barked, "Come in." As Sylvia opened the door, she felt like she'd walked into a scene from a horror movie. Xavier finally said as he stepped aside, and his friends did the same. Everyone thought that they were done with him the time being. But, when he reached the stairs, Xavier smiled wickedly before pushing Landon off the stairs. Some of the students who witnessed what happened screamed out of shock and fear. Nancy, Max, Alex, Sara, Hilary and Henry, Vans, Ayesha, and Olga all watched as everything took place. Nobody moved, especially when Xavier said: 'None of you saw anything.' --------------------
