The Lucky Ones Novels & Stories

The case swung slightly ajar. Kael looked at the clasp on the floor. Then, at the open case, he saw a book. He picked up the book titled The Luck Bearers Vol. III, carefully opened it to the first page, and read the first line. The Luck Bearers are not mages. They are not warriors. They are not chosen by gods or blessed by divine hands. They are anomalies. Errors in the system. People around whom the laws of probability stop behaving, bending, warping, and rearranging in ways no one can predict, measure, or pull back under control.

I’m the reincarnation of a lucky charm. As long as I’m happy, my whole family prospers. To keep me smiling, my billionaire grandfather built me a palatial bedroom and hired a whole team of housekeepers and nannies just to keep me company. Then, on the day the long-lost real heiress was finally brought home, everything changed. Holding a livestream rig, she stormed straight into my room and sneered at the camera, “Everyone, this is the fake daughter who stole my place and lived my life of luxury for eighteen years! “She knew I was coming back and still tried to fool everyone with this ridiculous nonsense about being some kind of lucky-star reincarnation? Fine. Today I’m exposing her for who s

Luke smiled widely seeing his beloved sister put on an act, he finally said, “Last night when I lost you in the club, I went for short ONS with a woman, she is awesome.” “And now you can’t forget her?” Luke nodded “What is her name again?” “Steph” “I mean not the nickname Luke, duh!” Lilian protested “I don’t know. She just told me that!” “Ugh….then it will be hard to track her down!” Lilian told him “Nah, all I need another ONS and I will forget her!” He said it and took his phone, calling Liam, his best friend “Hey, bar tonight?” He asked and in seconds, he smiled.

I thought, it will take a few more months, fortunately, the decision of Director Kim and our team in the company, changed. A few months had passed and we became even busier and our schedule became even tighter. I've only been able to talk to my mother, once. I can't even visit my father's house again. The last time I talked to Lucky, was the day she got accepted as a journalist in one of the most prestigious company in Manila. Maybe, she was also busy with her life there, that's why she didn't have time to call me. We already released our first ever single music album called, 'Run Away', we didn't expect that it will take almost thirty million views jn just a couple of months.

Nicole looked at the clock in the room and said, “I’m kind of in a hurry so I’ll make my story brief and comprehensive. After breaking your heart, I owe you an explanation my darling Muhammad.” Muhammad tried switching on the radio on his belt, in hope that anyone on the other end could listen to the conversation if the signal was restored. If Maryam and he were going to die tonight, their death might as well not be in vain. The most important thing was revealing the real identity of The First One.

She was the complete opposite of Alice and her monotonous energy when it comes to socializing with people. “Clubs need five members to be official. We thought we’re going to close until we got lucky with you.” Olivia touched Alice’s cheeks and pinched it with both hands. “You’re our little lucky charm!” It was too much of interaction than Alice could handle, but what cringe her the most was being called ‘lucky’ and ‘little’. She was a lot of things, introvert, geek, stuck-up, and goody-two-shoes, and yes, she was a bit short for her age, but she was not lucky. Never ever in her entire life.

But isn’t L the one who’s thankful to her here? “NO, thank you.” L replied. Patrice looked at him because he sounded different on that sentence he said. L smiled. “You actually came here.” He said. “Sorry. I didn’t know who I was calling by the time I called. Everything was blurry. So I just clicked a random contact.” He continued. “Maybe luck is on your side though. You were blessed to be called by me.” He finished. Patrice gave him a disgusted look. “What luck are you talking about?” She asked. *I got kissed accidentally for the first time. That is not luck at all. I want my first kiss to be with the man I would marry!* She thought.

The other boy shoot him an unfriendely glare. Tired and all famished, Allyssa mumbled. "Let's just pick." "Then who among you guys have a lucky star." Ten popped a brow. "cause I unfortunately don't." "With the fact that we are all here and in this deep shit. I'd say non of us are anywhere near the word 'lucky'" Sandra maintained a calm expression. "Then 'i' been the unluckiest should be the one to choose." Ten shrugged. Burrowing both hands in his pocket. "I say we go left. Left for the unlucky."

" The lucky ones. it means you are lucky " "How the hell am I lucky? did you not witness what happened back there!" this was preposterous, Kira was the farthest from being lucky she might consider herself the unluckiest person in existence. everything that had happened to her so far was proof of that, if she was to unlock her powers at the age of 18, then wasn't it at 18 that her bad luck had started? she had gotten into a fight with Lucille and then been sent to the mad pact a week after her 18th birthday, this was the very beginning of her long road to living a miserable and unlucky life. This Marble must have hit his head somewhere, at first she had found h

Trust is the most expensive thing in the world, once cracked - there will be no second. "Good. Keep watching," Axe continued, turning his gaze forward again. Just like he said. I focused my gaze where a large monitor was showing a documentary on the generosity of one Danial Gorson. Can I call this birthday celebration the annual showcase? I'm sorry I was so annoyed with him. However, it wasn't long before my questioning ended. The lights in the building suddenly went out...
