Glancing at the book in her hands, Ambrose mumbled, "Stop reading and get some sleep." Larissa ruffled his head. "Feeling tired? Do you want big sis to tell you a story?" she asked. Every time he heard the term "big sis," Ambrose felt an inexplicable sense of embarrassment. "No need!" He rolled into the blanket and closed his eyes. Larissa adjusted the covers and continued reading, lowering her head. After a while, Ambrose quietly opened his eyes again. From his angle, he could see Larissa engrossed in her book. Her perfect profile was accentuated by the soft glow of the dim yellow light. Her gaze was serious and focused.
