The Alpha Felt The Bond Only When She Was Gone

The Alpha Felt The Bond Only When She Was Gone

I carefully went through her things. A few faded uniforms. Some simple toiletries. "Is this all she had?" I asked the maid, Maya. Maya shook her head. "There's... there's a box under the bed." I dropped to my knees. Under the bed frame, I felt a metal box. It had a small lock. I snapped the lock with my bare hands. The moment the box opened, I froze. It was crammed full of memories. Newspaper clippings, hastily scrawled notes, candid photos...

Memory of the Wronged

Memory of the Wronged

“Enough. You’ve got guts, I’ll give you that. But you won’t get another chance. Mr. Wilson, come in!” A man in a white lab coat walked into the room, holding a strange-looking pocket watch. His expression was serious and focused. Without a word, he bowed respectfully to my parents and to Steve. Ben’s voice was cold. “Start the procedure. Extract her memories immediately. I want to know where Emily went.” “Yes, sir,” Mr. Wilson replied without hesitation. He moved to the machine, pressed three buttons, and then handed three metal helmets to my parents and Steve.

Christmas Memory

Christmas Memory

Sure enough, there was a box sitting against the door, holding it next to the wall. “Huh....” Memory said, putting both fists on her hips. “I swear I made sure that was closed this morning.” “Why don’t you have a look around and make sure there’s nothing missing, and I’ll go wait on that customer?” “What customer—” Before Memory could finish her sentence, the bell on the door dinged and Helen shot off, shouting a warm “Merry Christmas! Welcome to The Memory Box. How can I help you?” Helen caught herself gaping as she looked at three of her good friends from church—Esther, Mable, and Georgeann. They wouldn’t recognize her of course, so she had to pretend she didn’t know them.

The Legacy of the Alpha King: Sins of the Father

The Legacy of the Alpha King: Sins of the Father

That is what I am starting to believe, and I think Pierce has done so for some time. “Got it?” He pushes off the doorframe, extending his arm out for me to take. “Yep, got it.” “A shoebox with stickers on?” “No, it’s my memory box…with…” I pull the lid off, reaching in for my Mum’s small black leather pocket book. It had every contact, every business deal, every bank account in her name…including every password. “This.” “And what is this?” He asks, sceptical of the small book in my hand.

UNTIL YOU REMEMBER ME

UNTIL YOU REMEMBER ME

( Alessa) The call from Kathryn lingered like smoke long after Adrian hung up. I couldn’t sit still. While he took a call with legal counsel in the study, I found myself walking down the hallway toward the small storage room we rarely opened. The past felt too close tonight. Kathryn’s voice — smooth, familiar, laced with old intimacy — had cracked something open inside me. I pulled open the built-in locker Adrian used for old law school files and personal archives. Dust motes danced in the low light. My fingers brushed across old binders, then stopped on a small, unmarked wooden box tucked at the back.

Stained Love

Stained Love

She didn't utter anything but stepped away from them and walked inside a room that seemed to be hers. "This is my room..." Mayra mumbled, crying as she looked for her stuff but there was nothing. "It's in here Kiyaa..." Roy told placing a big wooden box on the bed for Mayra to open. Mayra realized that it was the same box she saw when she met him and was interested in what was inside. "This box?" Mayra asked as Roy nodded. "I keep it with me... This has your memories which kept me going..." Roy opened the box with a key and she saw all her stuff from clothes to toys, kept in it safely.

Great book, author! I hate Ekta! I also hate the cliffhanger, but I hate that I can’t find the sequel the most. I searched by the author’s name and by Mayra and I can’t find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Moonbound to a Human

Moonbound to a Human

Asher The house trembled. Not violently like we were under attack. This was different. Older. Deeper. The kind of tremor that moved through the stone because something beneath it finally remember how to breathe. The box. My mother's box. The thing that had laid silent on my desk for years like a paperweight carved with grief. A relic. A warning. A memory made solid from cedar shavings, resin, and ash. Her ash. And not it was awake.

My Fake Boyfriend Is a Single-Dad Hockey Star

I closed my eyes, seeing the office exactly as it had been years ago. "Under the desk there was a locked wooden box." "What was inside?" "Duplicate keys." I looked at Mason. "Every Hart Events property." He frowned. "What happened to them?" "The box disappeared after Mum died." Nobody spoke. "If Marissa searched our old records..." I swallowed. "...she could've learned about Bay Fourteen." "And if she found those keys..." "She wouldn't need to force the lock." The detective was already relaying the information to officers heading toward Hart Events.

When the Memory Fades

When the Memory Fades

"We're the Sullivans, and one of us might marry Summer someday. You’d better watch out, or you might lose your jobs!" I heard him and laughed, but I was really mad. "Acting all high and mighty in front of my hospital room? I don't even know you guys. Why would I marry any one of you?" Nelson ran up to me, trying to grab my hand, but I pulled away. His eyes were red, as if he had been crying a lot. "Summer, I talked to the doctor. He said you might have lost your memory because of the surgery. "It's okay. If you forgot us, we'll make new, happy memories together. It'll be our way of making things right, okay?"

Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

I was young, only a few years old, but I felt robbed of those memories. “She left some odds and ends here over the years,” Geraldine said, her gaze distant. “I think I have a box of it up in the attic. Would you mind lending me one of your men? My muscles aren’t what they used to be.” My heart pounded as she disappeared up the stairs. A few minutes later, she returned, a dusty old box sitting in one of the guards arms.

Dear Author, I love your books. I look forward to reading the rest of this one as you write. You have not updated this book in some time so I hope you and your family are ok. Thank you for sharing your imagination and vision.

the story is good and funny, but updates are only every 2 weeks or so. 230 chapters and still very far from any of the multiple problems being solved. So I guess, with only a few chapters per month the story will go on for another year or more.
