My heart pounded with lust, guilt, and overwhelming emotion. His jaw clenched. His eyes locked on mine, and his hips flexed forward just enough for the tip to breach me slightly. The sound of keys in the front door upstairs froze us both. Heavy footsteps followed. A familiar voice called out. Mia was home early.

God, the pain. She washes her face, gets dressed and fixes her hair, trying to make sure no one sees what happened to her. When she returns to the room, she puts on her coat and prepares to leave, but remembering that the door has a code, she moans. - 1204. – Simon says from the bed with a smirk. Sarah shuddered and, without looking back, inserted the code, hearing the door unlocked. She opens the door, but before she moves, Simon says:

The door creaked as I slowly pulled it open. I poked my head out and scanned the porch carefully, looking for any signs of life. There weren’t any. I opened the door wider and the curls in the front of my face were swept away by the cool air. My feet made contact with something. I looked down and found three bags.

My heart raced with a mix of fear and excitement as I quietly slipped out of the room and made my way toward the forbidden door. The hallway was dimly lit, the air heavy with tension. I approached the door, my pulse quickening as I reached out to touch the keypad. The numbers felt cold under my fingers as I carefully entered the code—3435. For a moment, nothing happened, and I feared I had been misled. But then, with a soft click, the door unlocked. I hesitated, my hand hovering over the handle. This was it—the moment I had been preparing for. Taking a deep breath, I pushed the door open and stepped inside, bracing myself for whatever I might find.

~ELENA’S POV~ Max insists I put in the code, but I didn't understand his reasons. I mused, what if it was a secret door to somewhere, or it probably has confidential and important things in the room. Whatever was behind the door, I guess I'm about to find out. “The code is 32721401. Go ahead and punch in the code, Elena,” Max demanded. “Okay,” I paused for a moment, then moved towards the door. I put in the code, and the door unlocked.

I said. We descended through the crumbling tunnel that led to the main chamber. The walls glowed faintly with bioluminescent moss, giving the place a ghostly hue. Each step echoed like a heartbeat. At the center of the chamber stood a massive steel gate, carved with symbols that pulsed faintly when we approached. Elias’s final code. Mira connected the drive. The symbols reacted instantly, spinning and reforming into geometric patterns. “It’s opening,” she whispered. The gate split apart with a deep mechanical sigh, revealing a chamber filled with light and silence. In the middle of it stood a black terminal humming with quiet power.

“Juvia, there is a keypad on the door. Could you put in a code. Any code, just make sure its one that you will remember.” I looked at him and cocked my head before stepping over to the door and finding the keypad. I punched looked behind me and as I did, Nate and Leon both turned away. 010516. My school locker number was the only one that sprung to mind. I hit enter and nothing happened. “Okay, that is now the code for the door. Type it again.” Leon said and I did. The door clicked 3 times and then I pulled the handle down and the door opened.

Claire nodded, "what if the exit is there.” Angela and Claire walked over to the room, and when opening the room door, it seemed the same as the other rooms. However, the bed wasn't standing straight. As expected, Angela and Claire moved the bed, and to their surprise, a door opened from the ground. It was securely locked with a password. “This door is like a vault in the bank. Without a code, we won't be able to open it.” Angela tried the six-digit code to be the year she was born, month, and date, the light on the vault flickered twice red, “amount of attempts remaining two,” said an artificially intelligent voice.

At the end of the hall, we turned left only to be greeted with another hallway, but at the end of this one stood a double door with glass windowpanes.

There were machines humming somewhere in the dark, like something alive and waiting. We moved cautiously along the walkway. Pipes ran along the walls, leaking thin trails of vapor that curled through the light. I tried not to think about Mia, about how she’d sacrificed herself to let me climb. I wanted to believe she was still alive somewhere, but the silence below us felt too final. A door stood at the far end of the platform. A security lock blinked green for a second, then turned red. Alexander knelt beside it, typing quickly on the small keypad. “They changed the code,” he muttered.
