Alpha’s Mistake
Milena adjusts, shielding the moving shadows from view, trying to prevent me from seeing the act I instigated.
She is cute. I am glad she cares for my emotions; however, it is for a short while. I am certain it is.
“What are you hiding?” I prop my head to the side; she blocks my face with her palm.
“Nothing.” Milena clears her throat. Sweat glistens on her forehead as her long lashes keep blinking. She looks more confused, and it surprises me. Why is she confused? The act is performed by two adults.
Maybe I confuse her. Her tiny brain must be working overtime, trying to figure out what it should not.
