The Murmur Of Bees นิยาย & เรื่องราว

However, I saw it–clear as day. A sly smile was already creeping across Adam's face. "Mr. Hayes, I have to admit–you've got quite the imagination," he said with a chuckle. "Even if it's a bit disrespectful to my uncle." He smirked. "Maybe I'll turn your story into a short video. Could be great marketing for my guesthouse. Might even make me go viral." My chest tightened with frustration as the officers began pushing me toward the police car. Then suddenly– A ringtone cut through the tension.

Soheila murmured, but the six animals heard it. "Large field of grass and non-woody flowers..." Sirene repeated. Since they don't want other animals or insects to hear them, their voice was too low as they whispered. "Could it be..." Zachary murmured. Soheila's eyes lit up and looked around again to the tall grass. "Bees!" Soheila whispered to the six animals. "Right! This is a meadow where bees usually live. However, it's bigger." Sirene said suddenly.

Soft music is distant to my ears as she holds me close, keeping eye contact. We move gracefully on the dancefloor, me following her lead. Murmurs from those around us sounded like bees buzzing in a beehive, nothing clear enough for me to understand. Not that I cared about what they had to say. "You okay," she asks in barely a whisper and I nod lightly.

Wet, sticky but sweet, they squatted on the ground of sticky nectars and waited for the plan’s next phase. The bees’ ability to communicate through their antennas are highly commendable, not too long since the winged creatures, crossbows in their right hand, came flying rapidly towards them. The common little bees were swept trough the air as the creatures’ wings flapped so fast that it cannot be seen by the naked eyes. “You. Humans. Get. Out. How?” asked one of the bees who came swarming at us. There are ten of them, who came at us with their gazes express with such hostility. Getting anxious, Christian stepped backwards and grabbed Alex’s hands, seeking comfort. Alex understood their situa

~Parker’s Point of View~ I groan and try to move but the pain is all too paralyzing. When a soft hand touches what I think is mine, it calms me. But only a bit. I try to talk but it’s easily several minutes before my mouth actually moves and something comes out. “Bee hive,” I mumble, though it takes me nearly a minute to say the entire sentence. I know a shitstorm reigned down upon me, but it started with bees. I’m probably going to have nightmares about them for weeks, I freakin’ hate bees!

'You are aware your sister's episode was most likely due to substance abuse?' There was a brief silence, punctuated by the steady beeping from close by. It was the beeping sound that I'd heard first, the insistent noise reaching out to me in the darkness and I'd followed the beeps up to the surface, like I was following a trail of breadcrumbs out of the deepest part of the forest.

I told her. The mirrors dimmed, not by mechanics; by intention. Mercury is a domestic metal when you give it a song. The brass bowls sang back the note I had taught them. I watched the pulse at her neck; it fluttered, then slowed, then took on a rhythm I have not heard from a mortal in a long time. It is the rhythm of old monasteries when the world outside thought it was stamping out hunger and inside the monks were writing cookbooks for fasting.

I rented a place, hoping to enjoy a few days of peace, but someone kept ruining that. A woman outside was pounding on my door, screaming in a raspy voice. "Linda, open up! Were you the one who gave Daniel the idea? Did you tell him to come ask me for money? Open up!" Even though my neighbors tried to stop her, it did no good. I sighed at how similar she and Daniel were, though Chloe was even more shameless. Without warning, I opened the door, and she nearly fell inside.

The murmur began at the far edge of the room. It was not a sudden burst of noise, but a slow, spreading friction that rippled through the outer tables. People who had been talking turned their heads away from the main floor to stare down at the small screens lighting up in their hands. Maya did not look down. Her eyes remained fixed on the space ahead of her, but her jaw tightened. The shift in the room was palpable, a sudden drop in the temperature of the air that had nothing to do with the wind outside.

Aaban walked down the center aisle between the giant silver cross and the Jesus statue and exited the chapel quietly, heading for his locker. He clicked the butane lighter on and off as he moved, thinking about fire and about retribution, and eternity, too, and about young supple virgins waiting somewhere in the hereafter for him. 3 The bees were in the trees . . . Cassie could see them from her house, in the bushes and locust trees where they had swarmed, down the slope which led to the small pond at the bottom of her backyard. They conspired there, the low buzzing sound of their carryings-on lifting on the breeze and rising up to where she stood. Cassie humphed.
