The Murmur Of Bees นิยาย & เรื่องราว

The moon had climbed high over the Blackwood mansion, bathing its walls in a cold, pale glow. The corridors shimmered faintly with beautiful silver light as servants moved quietly through them, their steps soft, their heads bowed. Inside Becca’s chamber, the mood was entirely different. The scent of herbs and lavender oil filled the air. Mira stood behind Becca, combing through her long hair with careful strokes. The brush moved slowly from roots to ends, each pull gentle and almost rhythmic. Becca sat before the mirror, her eyes fixed on her own reflection, her face drawn with mild irritation.

It was unlike anything she had ever felt on Earth. “Do you hear them? This is your family.” A sound rose around her—a hum, constant and steady, like bees in a hive. No discord, no arguing. Just voices, working, speaking of things unknown to her. Yet, instead of being overwhelming, the noise felt like a song. It pulsed, harmonizing with her heartbeat, filling the space with purpose. She should have been anxious, but the sound soothed her, like a lullaby for the mind.

he murmurs as he crosses to me. He leans down, kisses me deeply. My fingers find his chest, tracing his torso, hunger curling hot and sharp inside me. His body presses mine into the bed, his hardness unmistakable against me through the fabric of his black joggers. His hand cups my breast, and I arch into him, my breath breaking into a soft sound as he nuzzles into my neck. Then his phone blare. Gerald groans against my mouth, frustration radiating off him. He drops one last lingering kiss before pulling away, checking the screen.

She murmured under her breath – although she felt that it would crash her fully. But what else could she ever think of to do? She needed to do something. She might perhaps cross the bridge when that time comes, huh? Her insides instantly trembled as she faced the closed door. She knew that Denver was inside. She could smell him around the area – making her miss him more. Shea swallowed hard as she took a deep breath and knocked on the door. “Come in…” Denver’s cold voice resonated, and she closed her eyes – thinking twice about whether to continue her decision or not.

At this rate, I might as well live in the backyard and graze on grass like a cow. The soft whimpers soon turned into high-pitched screams of fury, setting the rest of the girls off one by one. All seemed to compete with one another, vying for my attention. Each belting out a strident decibel that could shatter glass. My poor abused eardrums. “I'm coming,” I slurred, barely forming coherent speech.

The waiting was the hardest part. It was a strange, stretched-out time, like the moment between a lightning flash and the thunderclap. The air in the valley grew so thick with impending silence that even the buzzing of their bees seemed muffled, as if the insects were flying through honey.

[3, 2, 1. The world turned quiet. There was no music. No white noise. Only an ultra-high frequency buzz, which pierced directly into my brain like a red-hot needle. It was agony. It was so painful that I wanted to curl up, but I did not dare to move. The rules said that I needed to remain completely still. I could not move even a finger. The buzzing drifted closer, then further, as if it was flying around me in circles. No, not flying. It was swimming.

“You’re crazy, you know. Sometimes you scare me. Welcoming a challenge like that. Whatever.” They left the attic, and as the lights turned off one by one; the shadows materialized. Gemma searched those shadows. Her eyes saw several things shift and stretch through those shadows. She tried not to gasp as faintly whispered words registered just beyond her hearing. She could hear several voices talking with each other, but she couldn’t make out the words they said. “Do you hear that?” “Hear what? I hear nothing.” “Shh… listen.” The whispers continued as the shadows shifted. Becky’s eye went wide as her ears picked up on the sounds. Becky looked at Gemma with wide eyes.

Spring announced its true arrival not with a whisper, but with a riotous, perfumed shout. The bluff erupted in lupine and poppy, and the air on the Tidewater Trail thrummed with the collective industry of ten thousand bees. The "Bee & Bee" signs were now a beloved landmark, their occupancy rate a running town joke. Miranda had started a "Pollinator's Progress" column in the Clarion, which was read with surprising fervor at the Salty Dog.

Murmuring without sound Something shifts in her gaze. Not quite hunger - more like recognition catching fire. The way she sees it, these words come from somewhere sacred. To her, the murmuring stream isn’t just sound - it’s speaking through me. Yes. Only her understanding misses the mark. Her fingers close over my hand. Where exactly, she asks again. The pressure steady. Picture it clearly, she says. Not vague. Name the spot inside your thoughts
