Apocalypse Elements Book One: Fire

Apocalypse Elements Book One: Fire

I landed in a Greek tragedy. I found a tree root that looked strong enough to hold my weight and sat down, with my elbow on my knees I held my head in my hands. Closing my eyes, I thought about how I got myself in this mess. Masi walked over to me. “No, we are not muses. Muses motivate and inspire Greek heroes, they wish they were like us.” she chuckled before continuing. “We are guides, guides to the four guar-.” She stopped talking, her hand flew to her half open mouth, eyebrows rose to be lost under her hairline and her eyes widened.

I like your idea for a story. I would love to read this book and find out what you have prepared for the readers. End of the world stuff are from my favorites, but there aren't many books with this motive ;)

This story really ticked my curiosity. I keep on predicting what would happen next. Can't wait to know more about Kalama and the choices that she would make? This story is worth your time. Good Job, author! ?

Demon Kings Queen (book two)

Demon Kings Queen (book two)

The moon princess groaned, rubbing her temple with her neatly manicured fingers as her friend kept walking closer to her. Clio was one of the nine muses, also her sister. With her black, square glasses slipping off her nose bridge, she always had a keen interest in history. No wonder she’s called the muse of history. If the moon princess had to describe her in two words, it would probably be nerdy and obsessed (or as she would call it, determined). Most people would imagine muses to be lounging around, doing nothing as that’s what they are said to be, but not Clio. She did the research for fun.

Master of Justice, Slave to Desire

Master of Justice, Slave to Desire

Aliana’s POV “You’re little--- what now?!” I gaped up at him, wondering if I’d heard him correctly. Sure, I knew in theory what a Muse was – if I didn’t, my father would be thoroughly disappointed in me. I mean more than he already was… In Greek mythology, the Muses were the nine goddesses of the arts, literature, and sciences. They were the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, aka Memory. Zeus, of course, was the ruler of all the gods on Mount Olympus, the God of the Sky and Thunder.

Fateful Collision

Fateful Collision

Rama purred softly as he dozed off on the couch's curved back, where he had curled up to sleep. Raquel cast her eyes around the room and admired the paintings that hung on the walls as well as the figurines of the goddesses Morrigan, Hathor, and Vesta that adorned the mantel. Morrigan was the goddess of war and sorcery, while Hathor was the goddess of cunning. Vesta was the goddess of fire. The statue of Hecate, the Greek goddess of magic, which was almost as tall as she was and stood in the alcove next to the fireplace, was her favorite piece. It was good to be back in my own home. She had washed for a quarter of an hour, trying to wash away the stench of the Graysons' cellar as well as the

When he is young, his father gives him a stringed instrument called a lyre, and Orpheus turns out to be such a gifted musician that no mortal can resist the sound of his music. His gift seems to be divine. In fact, his voice and playing are so beautiful that not even an immortal can resist his music, and even trees are said to move themselves in order to come closer to him while he plays.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

The Mate Agreement

The Mate Agreement

As we walk into the dimly lit gallery of the museum, I am immediately struck by the grandeur of the space. A massive, ancient statue dominated the center of the room, surrounded by smaller pieces of art, artifacts, and relics from various ancient civilizations and moments in history. Bibah wanders off to a large mural on the far end and I make my way towards the towering statue, marveling at the intricate details and the skill of the artisans who had crafted it so many centuries ago. If I’m not wrong, the statue is that of Themis; greek goddess of justice and wisdom, judging from the scales she’s holding up, the sword in her other hand, and the blindfold. But what’s special about this statue
