The Don’s unexpected fiancée.

The Don’s unexpected fiancée.

We always have to mess everything up, and I do not understand why we have to do that. "Isabella, you have to get yourself out of this mindset. You cannot think like that. You have to realise that you will have to be normal for once. Oh boy, am I in trouble. I know I can never be normal. I was not born normal. I have not even had a normal life. From the beginning, everything was against me," I talk to myself.

My stepmom is my Mate?

My stepmom is my Mate?

I gulped down the pile in my throat. “Honestly, I feel normal. I thought I would feel scared or maybe angry? I thought I would feel restless but Instead I feel okay just like I do everyday.” I stopped, glancing at him to see him deep in thought. His chin gut out slightly, eyes dimmed, eyebrows furrowed with lines appearing on his forehead. “How does your 'normal’ feel?” He asked. I opened my mouth to speak but shut it again, this time taking my time to understand what he meant. How does my normal feel? Regret, Calculative, insomnia, pathetic.

In love with a heartless billionaire

In love with a heartless billionaire

"Look, we're getting a divorce soon so there's no need to worry about that..." "Even though. What if you find love again someday? Wouldn't you want to have kids with that person too someday?" "I doubt that would ever happen." "Well that's the problem with you! You doubt! You doubt way too much, Mirabelle! And that is so not cool. Look you got rid of not just one, or two, you got rid of all the babies in your womb! What normal woman does that?" "That's the problem. I'm not normal. I don't even know how to be normal."

"This is the best life I got. People fear me, cause I earned that and it keeps reminding me that its all because of the image I've been keeping to get everything I ever desired for. This is a good novel. I love the synopsis and the start. It is thrilling in its own way. Good dialogues and grammatical structure author. This book is a keeper n it is quite lovely. I look forward to seeing Valerie and Enzo rise and conquer the underworld and enact their revenge. Good work author.
Snowmonn
The words that the author used in each scene were appropriately enough for the reader to have a clear imagination of what is actually happening. She minimized the dialogues but the descriptions were satisfying. Good job, author ?

The Billionaire Who Thought I Was Blind

>> FEWER EXTREME INTERVENTIONS. >> MORE PREDICTABILITY. >> ENOUGH STABILITY THAT I CAN DOWNSCALE WITHOUT EVERYTHING FALLING APART. Godmode paused. Then: >> RIGHT NOW, YOU ARE A CONSTANT EMERGENCY. That arrow landed. “You don’t let the system normalize,” Coleman said. “It shouldn’t normalize this,” I said. Godmode continued. >> YOU ARE ALSO A RESOURCE DRAIN. >> SO MUCH EFFORT, FOR EACH PERSON YOU SAVE. >> SO MUCH RISK, FOR EACH LAB YOU BURN.

Fighting For Normal

Fighting For Normal

Tinsley had already claimed a spot against the side of the truck bed, blanket arranged, with the settled energy of someone who had arrived with opinions and intended to deploy them. “The problem with modern horror,” she said, to the general air, “is the color grading. Everything is teal and orange and it flattens the fear response.” “What does that mean,” Emory said. “It means you stop being scared because everything looks the same.” “I am going to be scared,” Emory said. “Regardless of the color grading.” “You are going to cover your eyes.” “I am going to be scared and then cover my eyes, in that order, which is the correct order.”

The Second Wife's Revenge

The Second Wife's Revenge

Not my family's story. Mine. I called Mom to tell her. "That's wonderful, sweetheart." "Are you disappointed I'm not at the foundation?" "Disappointed? Grace, I'm relieved. The foundation is my past. You're my future. Build your own thing." "What if I fail?" "Then you'll fail. And learn. And try again. That's what I did." "Did you ever wish you'd had a normal life?" A long pause. The kind that held something real. "Every single day. But then I remember: normal is overrated. Meaningful is better."

Ruin me, Stepbrother

Ruin me, Stepbrother

I need to show to myself that I could want something that wasn't toxic, forbidden and outrightly wrong. My fingers moved before I could overthink it. I typed out "How about today?" but then deleted it because it seemed too eager, too desperate. I tried again with "Today works if you're free?" and deleted that too. I was just thinking about something very perfect, normal and my style. I finally settled on something that felt casual enough. "Hey! Sorry just saw these. Today actually works if you're free? I could use some normal after this crazy week." I hit send before I could think about changing my mind again, and then immediately regretted the very 'normal' comment because what if he asked

Billionaire Boss? Nah, Just A Possessive Husband!

’ ‘Only that once? ‘Yes.’ ‘And you accepted this invitation?’ ‘Mrs Reynolds has been persistent. Besides, my husband has been nudging me to go out more often – he said it would give me more samples to observe.’ ‘Samples?’ ‘I’m a sociologist.’ Ah – a student of people. Got it. ‘You don’t look scared,’ I observed. ‘Should I be?’ ‘Normal people would be.’ She smiled. ‘Normal is a sociological construct – it depends on which society you live in.’

MY STEPBROTHERS, MY RUIN

MY STEPBROTHERS, MY RUIN

Elena had defended them fiercely but had cried on the way home. That evening, after the younger ones were in bed, they held a family meeting with Elena at the big dining table. All four adults listened without interruption as she recounted the incident, her small hands clenched in her lap. “I told her love isn’t weird,” Elena said, voice trembling. “But she said normal families don’t do that.” Anya pulled her daughter onto her lap. “Normal is just what most people do. It doesn’t make it better or righter. Our family works because we choose each other every day. We respect each other. That’s what matters.”
