The New Toy Novels & Stories

"But only if you promise to take it out." He considered this for a moment, then nodded. "Fine." I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts. "My first boyfriend... he was very freaky." The words felt foreign on my tongue, a confession I had never made to anyone. "This... this is nothing compared to the days he made me spend with toys inside me. Sometimes for days at a time. In public, at home, everywhere. He enjoyed watching me struggle, and enjoyed the control it gave him."

It had wires connected to speakers and a DVD. Toys scattered around the living space and it carried a homely feel with plants and books laying about. There was a kitchen to the left and three sturdy looking doors to the right. Seems like the tenants get to share the living room and kitchen, that's cute. “Sorry about the mess. My 3 year old, Lily, likes to play about” Celine ushered us in, and went ahead to pick up and arrange the toys in a small basket next to the door labeled “A”.

Temi noticed the corner of his eyes lit up when he laughed. "What are you watching?" Temi asked, leaning towards her younger brother. "Trolls 3. This old time cartoon, it's actually better than Rebound shown every year." He whispered. "What is it about?" "Mostly music. All genre of music in one animation, that's just cool." he smiled. Temi told Alpha to block the stream of music from going to the parents at the front. The two kids smiled as the screen grew larger before them and watching as the Trolls sang.

As they reached the parking lot, a man in a brocade uniform jumped down from the driver's seat of a truck. "Where are the toys?" Howard raised an eyebrow. "They're all here!" The man quickly walked to the back of the truck and opened the door. "The Judge said he didn't know exactly what kind of toys Riley likes, so he bought a bit of everything." Howard and Yoel looked inside, both stunned. The entire truck was filled with toys! "He might as well have bought the entire mall!" Howard, feeling a bit speechless, exchanged a glance with Yoel. "What a simpleton!" Yoel also shook his head with a wry smile.

He looks at me like I just asked the stupidest question ever and I arch a brow at him. "What?" "We have to go to the toy store." He says matter-of-factly with a small frown and I nod my head slowly. "Ah, yes. Of course. Ask a silly question." Inside the toy store, he makes his way straight towards the spaceship aisle like his life depends on it. I follow him slowly, pulling a shopping basket behind me. He holds up a huge spaceship toy. “MOM. Look. This one has hyperdrive AND an alien map!” He says excitedly and I arch my brow at him again.

My eyes landed on the eyebrow scissors on my bedside table. As Bryson leaned over me again, I grabbed the scissors and plunged them into his chest.

They are the primary distributor of various vintage toys such as dolls, teddy bears, plushies, and remote-controlled toys. They utilize advanced technology to produce new toys based on market demand. The document was about the new plushies that will be placed in game outlets at malls and arcades. "If I were you, I would choose this one. Claw machines are especially popular among couples and kids, who are the primary collectors of plushies," I suggested, pointing to the second option. The poster depicts a joyful family portrait, along with a young couple surrounded by plushies and other designs. The color scheme is subtle, and the slogan is quite catchy.

"Welcome to toy story." It greeted with a deep roar. Definitely normal. I moved on, I heard a creak behind me and when I turned around only its head was turned all the way through. I'd give them a ten for creepy. Of all the ideas for building a blacksite. A toy theme. So very original. I kept moving until we reached the end with another door. The others had gone in, so I followed. It was still filled with pictures of "advanced toys" There were rooms in all corners, I looked at some and they were filled with tanks, others computers, most of them were just rooms.

"I'll play with you! We have new toys at home!" "I want to play with Layla, but Layla doesn't want to play with me. Kiara is ignoring me, too. Rose is willing to pay attention to me, but Layla pulled her away! Woo, woo, woo!" Robert pouted and refused the snack Shea offered him. "Aunt Shea, where is the new toy?" "The new toys haven't been unboxed yet! I'll take you there to unbox it!" Shea held Robert's hand and led him to the new toys.

The manager was a little taken aback, but he processed it without uttering a single word. The moment I walked out of the office building, I let out a heavy exhale. The sunlight was blinding, but it allowed me to feel the warmth of a new start. The three years were up. I got my freedom back at last. My phone buzzed with a message from Simone. "It's the company's anniversary gala tonight. You need to be there." Just like always, she was giving me a command. I was going to delete her message, but I decided against it. I figured it would be the final act to make a clean break from the past.
