I felt like I'd overstayed my welcome, and it was time to go back to my place of dwelling.
"I should go," I went to grab my handbag. "I have to drive back."
Mia nodded. "Have a safe drive back, and call me anytime," she said as she embraced me. I was starting to get very accustomed to her hugs. "I'd love to answer any questions you have."
I nodded, and thanked her for her time. She reached to take a book off a shelf near the wall, and passed it to me. It read, 'Night Terrors' by Katie Roosevelt, an author that I'd never heard about before.
